Nute change! (week 1 flowering house and gardens)
added 60% nutes of Aquaflakes A and B
and followed the rest of the nute chart @ 60%
added +70ppm of Calmag
Total EC = 1.0 PPM = 700 (is this too high?)
PH adjusted to 5.8

6/30/11
PH adjusted from 6.1 to 5.8
added 10% more nutes of Aqua Flakes A and B
EC went from .9 to 1.0

7/1/11
PH adjusted from 6.0 to 5.8.
EC is 1.2

7/2/11
PH adjusted from 6.2 to 5.7

other notes:
i switched the feeding from 24/7 and about a half way filled water level to 3mins on 1 min off with the water level all the way down right after i triggered flowering.

was my first time using bushmaster, so i didn't know how it was going to effect the plants at all.

The leaves looked like they are being either over watered or have a nutrient problem because the tips are curling (probably under fertilized from the bushmaster use) i'll post more pics later (hopefully i can correct this white balance on my camera)

All feedback is greatly appreciated!

Nute change:
40 Gallon R/O water
75% nute strength Aquaflakes A+B @ 225ML
Dripclean 14ML
Roots excelurator 44ML
Multi-Zen 152ML
smallest plant 14"
tallest plant 22"
EC = 1.3 PH = 5.8

Any ideas on what is happening to my leaves? I've never had this happen before. The temp in the room gets to be around 75F-80F at night and around 85F during the day. My guess would be over fertilizing from Magic Green foliage. I totally forgot i had to use it while the lights are off -.-. My second guess can be because of the bushmaster use ? This is my first grow using bushmaster. I'm running 75% nute strength @ an EC of 1.3.

hands down bro, i give u mad props
im going to do an aerogarden next time, but i think i might build my own
any suggestions on that?
and whats EC?

and im not to familiar with aero but looks to me like uve got everything right on point

Thanks bro. EC is just another units for PPM my ppm is about 900ppm. I think i might be running my nute strength a bit high but like im running @ 75% nute strength?! There are a lot of guides online for a DYI aerogarden. I suggest looking at a pipe dreams build i recall seeing online somewhere.

Hey xnhojux, looking good man! though I wanted to mention a few things:

1) It looks like your plants have "the claw", where the leaf tips curl downward from overwatering. Hard to see in the pics, but I don't see any leaf tip burn or anything else weird, so looks like nutes are ok. If you're at 75% nute strength and you don't see any burns or anything strange, I would say raise the nutes up to 100%...they can probably take it :blsmoke: Raise the nute level up a little at a time if you are nervous about raising it to 100% all at once.

You said its watering for 3 min on, and 1 min off? I don't have experience with aero (yet), but I've heard another guy say he always keeps the pumps at a constant 1 min. on every 5 min. Not saying you should do exactly that, but lower the watering little buy little. The leaf tips should be pointing upwards, not curling down like that.

2) Those are getting pretty tall....they are in flowering already, yeah?? if not, I would put those to flower immediately, otherwise they are going to be SUPER tall and lanky.

3) Aaaand, it's up to you of course, but those could use a good trim! All those big fans leaves hanging down at the bottom are doing so because they're not getting much light, and those could be trimmed off. If it was me, I would trim off about the lower 1/2 of all those, since they are looked kind of crowded. all the lower giant fan leaves could go, as well ass any leaves or bud sites that are on the lower 1/2 and within a few inches of the stem.

Thinning helps tremendously! a lot the plant's energy is just wasted going to the lower growth, so why not divert that energy to the top bud sites?! you will see them explode after doing this!! Also, when you are in flowering and see the big fan leaves start to die off, trim those suckers off. they look somewhat crowded, so doing this would allow a lot more light to hit all parts of the plants.

good luck man!!! :bigjoint:

Looks nice man. I started my flowering just recently. I was thinking about growing in this exact aeroponics system. Can't wait for an update on yours. You are into the 3rd week of flowering or so if you flipped them soon after ZiggZagg's post.

Hope all is well.

Ph is way off! that tightening is early signs of either 1. the chambers are too high or 2. the ph is @5.6 or lower too often. Im thinking raise the ph and check the water temp to avoid those issue in the future. Nice system those are fun. That tent is shitty too. dont but the white gut versions of these tent, fair warning to all reading this forum entry

I'm starting a grow with the exact setup as you..it's gonna be my first time..can u take a pic of the water level inside the chamber? I wanna see how high or low the water is with the cups..thanks alot.. Your setup is sick I can't wait for mine :)
