Aerogarden, 1st timer, bagseed

Okay. So, day 12 into flower and I'm not seeing any balls. I thinking their females. Temp was down to 65 today for them with the door open. Nothing new on the fan front. I'm gonna be huntin down an 150 HPS today hopefully at a local hydro store. I'm finding that the AG hood light is nowhere near enough for these guys now. I'll probably start using it as a side light when I can get an hps. Pics will be coming either later tonight or saturday with a much better camera. To make things worse, I'm totally dry here.

Okay. So my local hydro store is a god damn rip off. $200 for a 150 hps. I just ordered from HTG for like $80 including shipping instead. Hopefully it gets here soon. Now I'm in the market for hittin a good seedbank. I'm assuming my Dr. Chronic order never even shipped as I got nothin in the mail...not even a letter from customs which is a good thing I guess. I'm thinking attitude seedbank may be the way to go. They have the stealth shipping and a decent selection (although a good amount of what I want is out of stock). I'm still doing some research on seedbanks with good reps, that ship to the US (non legalized medical state that is), and provide stealth shipping. Looking for lowryder 2 strains (non fem'd so I can make my own damn seeds and not have to go through this hassel again).

Busy day today. Changed the set up a bit. Took the hanging AG hood out of the mix and replaced it with another 300w CFL (2700K). Figured that the AG hood light wasn't doing too much at this point. Plus the 150w hps is on its way.
I also adjusted the lights so they weren't so close to the plants, a likely cause of the heat stress I was seeing earlier. And got a new fan in there. Ground level so it should blow more air at the plants instead 3 inches above them. Temp is running at 73 with the lights on. Humidity around 35%.

Now for the pics:

Pic 1:
This is the biggest of the 2 plants. For arguments sake, I'll refer to her as Jennifer Love Bonghitt Jennifer is the one who has been suffering from the heat stress the most. The leaves are curling downward and the plant in general looks like it's crying. Sorry that the pic is so damn out of focus. No matter what camera I use, it all comes out of focus. Haven't measured her yet but I'd say she's about a foot give or take an inch. Again, not 100% on whether she is in fact a female, but not seeing any balls anywhere on the plant. I'll get a much better pic next time I change the rez.

Pic 2:
She's a little shorter than Jennifer Love Bonghitt. We'll call her Katherine High-gle. Not nearly as much curling with her (she didn't have the 300 watter right on her). Overall, she looks a little healthier. The pic doesn't show it too much but she's got more of the yellow leaves (see pic 3).

Pic 3:
Katherine High-gle again. Now you can clearly see the yellowing on the leaves. Not sure what to do with these leaves at this point. Cut em down? Keep'em and see what happens? Piss on'em like R. Kelly did to that chic? Just don't know.

Pic 4:
Here's the general ghetto set up in my closet. Fan is off camera. And yes...those are plastic hangers I'm using to hang the lights from Katherine High-gle is on the left side. Jennifer Love Bonghitt on the right side.

Thanks sicc. Just checked out ur journal...sorry to hear man. That truly sucks. I just reinforced some of my lighting to prevent the same thing from happening.

Both are of Jennifer Love Bonghitt. Looks pretty female right? I wan't really ?ing her too much.

Both are from Katherine High-gle. This is the plant I'm concerned with. Same age as Jennifer but looks real different at those 4 way intersections. What do you all think? Female, male, hermie? Is there a better place to post "what sex is my plant?" questions on this site?

On the brightside, I cowboyed up and ordered some LR2 seeds and auto AK47 x autoblueberry f1. I'm freakin psyched to get these. First things first though...I still gotta fix the stuff going on with this grow. Yellow leaves, unsure sex, over heating...tons of things I gotta get down before starting any new seeds.

Yeah. I figured those were the start of buds. That's why I wasn't too concerned with her. The other one though...eh.

the one looks like some sacs, but i mean if the other plant is budding, and that on isnt, has to be male

Here's a zoomed look at the area on Katherine High-gle. Not sure if this is the start of budding or if it's balls.

Pic2 is of Jennifer. Looks like she's already budding. I would take the possible male right out of the AG, but...the plant in pic 1 was the one who got the worst (by far) of the heat stress so I'm wondering if it's just a little slower to develop as a result. Maybe I'm just trying to be too optomistic about this. Would suck to be left with only one plant out of the 3 but heh, gotta do what i gotta do.

well, now that dosnt look like buds, thats some weird growth or somthings, I've never seen that, but the otber one looks like balls, but thats kinda weird too

Yeah. I posted the pics on another forum and the response was to give it a few more days and see. Could just be new growth apparantly. Guess I'll just wait and see.
