bongsmilieok first time aerogarden grow. i have the aerogarden pro 200. i germanated seeds in a paper towel and let them go for 2 days keeping them wet.put them in the provided aerogarden foam. making sure that the seed was going up. i have a 6" airstone in the aerogarden and added the starter nutes on day 3. now on day 7 this is what they look like. not to bad in the back row but the front row looks a little slower growing.bongsmilie

day 15. i kinda freaked out about my 3 plants having nute burn, due to adding the nutes to soon. so i checked my ph its bout 6.5. im not sure but i think i remember reading ph should be around that. so i ruled that out. then i decided to drain the res, clean it out and start with fresh water. im going to let them go another week and see how they look. then i will decide weather or not to chuck em into flowering. heres some new pics.

Hey man, just popped by to see what's up and maybe offer some suggestions. I don't wanna step on any toes so just say the word and I'll stop and/or delete this post.

Veg em until you've identified the females. Once you've got females ready to go, you should fill the entire AG up with clones from the same female, testing them all out until you find which one does it for you.

If you start off with clones, they'll stay short for you and you'll be able to get a much better yield. All you'd have to do is wait an extra week or two for the clones to root and it'd be on! You wanna keep the plants short so you can use the lighting more efficiently. You may not need to add all those extra lamps if you do it like that. If you find a decent female, I'll bet you could yield a QP on your very first harvest.

Lemme know what you think.

no problem with any sugestions here man. after all thats why im here. cloning has been in the back of my head. this i my first time with the aerogarden so everything is an experiment at this point. now can i root the cuttings in the foams provided by aerogarden? im not exactly sure on how to do it. i will have to do some research.

You could do it like that, but you'd have to put the seed plants somewhere else. There's a few ways you could go about it, but you will eventually want to make an aerocloner. Everything you need to do it is available at a Lowes or Home Depot.

day 23..everything is lookin a little better this week. i trimmed the dead leaves off the 3 smaller plants that appear to have suffered from nute burn but im not sure.. the 3 larger plants seem to be allright except the one on the far left it has started getting a few spots on the lower leaves. does anyone know what may be goin on here? why would 3 plants show signs before the others.. different strains?? i dont know. but here are some updated pics.
