Aerogarden club

has anyone ever tried training in the aerogarden, i dont want to spend whole lot of $ moding the thing and i was thinking of doing 2 trained plants around the edge, i could easily do this with like 5 min worth of work and a couple bucks, i just havent seen it done. id like to know if someones done it how it works out, maybe even see some pics. thanks!

WOW. I am so proud! I check the threads once in a while and can't believe what I see from all you fellow Aero Pirates out there... Amazing stuff... All of the pics look great.... I read thru and forget what I wanted to say...

I like the nylon idea...Like nylon stockings or somthing for the roots....nice...might have to try that...

I don't know what to say...everyone is being soooo helpful especially thx to Warofweedcraft....thx so much for taking the responisibility and initiative to help the cause...

BTW I just ordered Lowryder #2 seeds from Dope-seeds and got em in 10 days and I live in the states...

I can't wait to start some lowryder OMG its gonna be awesome...

Can anyone help me on how to produce a male because I want to get a bunch of these lowryder #2 seeds.... I'll look it up too...

Good to see ya back around TEK. I have read all of your stuff on the Aerogarden and learned a lot. I have 2 Aerogarden Deluxe's in a sm Homebox that i use to veg seedlings, clones and mothers. I have another larger Homebox with a 400w HPS and 2'x2'x7" ebb and flood tray i use for flowering with the full line of FoxFarm nutes. The problem that i am running into is that when my seedling grow into the domes i remove them and they wilt like the light is too hot for them. This happens even with a fan blowing on them. The temp in the Homebox is only 82F. Should i change my light cycle from 24 hrs to 18/6 and remove the domes during the beginning of the dark cycle and move the light up a notch???

Sticky: Your babies wilt as soon as you take the domes off? YOu think the aerogarden light is too hot? Or the 400w HPS?

It's probobly the heat.....But it is a common occurence for the first set or two of leaves to get a little funny, like discoloration or perhaps even wilting....After the plant is fine...

I would keep lights at 18/6 and only remove the domes once they sprout...otherwise keep the Flourescent lights as close as possible at all times...

dudes, all you have to do is hold the light button down at a given time like 4:20 and thats your set time

that is correct I am new to the AG but did take the time to read the instructions, if you want the light on 24/7 set it to strwberries, then press the light button and hold it for 5 seconds, you now have 24/7 light, when you are ready to go 12/12 just determine your off time, press and hold the lights off button for 5 seconds again and the lights will go off at this time everyday, I have tested the former, but not the latter

The Aerogarden Deluxe T5 CFL's lights only. The 400w HPS is in a totally separate room.

what tablets work best for you ?

Can I replace the two standard bulbs of the AG with 2 26w CFL's? Not addtional ones, just replace the old ones.

the sockets are different, there not screw type they are square push in type. check out my aero grow https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/34120-daves-aerogarden-grow-pics-25.html, i used a different fixture and added some cfl's. all together for the mods. around $55.00
i got almost 2.5 ounces off 2 plants of joey weed seed's "sugar blossum".

it usually take 2 weeks of 12/12 to see signs can be as long as 3 weeks

i went and bought a ag. and wan'ted to know if foxfarm nut's grow big are GOOD to use. thats all i bought and how much should i mix in with water and how many times WEEK ABOUT? and should i use the 2 aerogarden tablets to start off or just fox farm? this is my first grow sorry to bother you. and should start 12/12 lighting after 4 weeks or sooner and should i clip anything off the plants and where?

is it alright to germate in tha aerogarden ?
