the power cable to ps2's are the same cable as the aergrow and u can keep it ona 24 hour cycle instead of 12/12 untill flowering begins..it works perfect. the only thing i had to do is build a support for the light because my plants outgrew the height of my light

You can also buy the chords at radio shack.

You get them at the pet store in the fish department. You will also need a air pump.

You are going to have to order some more... go to the aerogarden website, and buy the deluxe seed pack... it comes with

-8 sponges
-8 baskets
-8 labels
-some small and large nutes
-and the dome lids...

You can use rapid rooter sponges and trim them to fit. You can also order the master gardener kit and get new sponges ,pods and labels.

at my local hydro store they have 1 inch net pots.

i have wondered if they would fit O.K. in the AG with 1 inch rockwool cubes?

might be cheaper than having to order the master kit.(although i did)

The rapid rooter sponges are the next best thing. You can get a bag of 50 for $15 at the hydro shop.

URGENT HELPP !! Ok so ive recently bought an Aerogarden, The System is a USA version, and i live in the UK, I also bought a voltage transformer so it would work over here! on the box of the voltage converter it says ;"Input 230v-50hz...Output AC 100v~120 45W", when i first plugged the thing in it i selected what cycle i wanted then it watered the seed pods it continued to do this for about five minuites then went silent, the lights DID NOT turn on and the power supply seemed to make no effect, ANYYY SUGGESTIONS ???? ANY ONE USING A TRANSFORMER WITH THEIR AEROGROW ???
WHAT BRAND??? ANY HELP APPRICIEATED

get a transformer that can handle more power? totally guessing but thats said on the output its 45W and the system is just under 60W, you might have blowen the transformer, like i said best guesstimate

Call up the aerogarden customer service...they are very nice and will help yo out....they will also probobly send you a new one of a bunch of other stuff for free...

hey im a newbie in the game , my mother gave me her aerogarden deluxe lol so i started growing 2 plants , i read alot of helpful shit you guys are like chronic scientists , im like 3 weeks into growing and there only 5 inches tall is that normal ?. i used the nutes they gave me ,i started off with 2 cherry tomatto nutes and after 2 weeks put in 2 large nutes i think i over nurished them babies the leaves are spotted brown starting with the lowers idk? i just got foxfarm nutes today the grow big ,big bloom, tiger bloom . idk witch to use when. and idk if i have a male or female iv been looking at pics to tell but i cant tell for shit.

You might need to read a bit more on the "basics", but as for the AG, heres what you need...

-At 3 weeks i was 8-10 inches tall...

-You're gonna need more than two plants... the best way to grow in the AG is to start off in soil pots, and when you get a female plant, cut the clones and put them in the AG.. this will save you soooooooo much trouble...

-The AG nutes work great, but you dont wanna feed them until after 2 weeks, or you're gonna burn em. I havent used more than one large nute a week, and ive never had any serious nute probs... One "small" nute a week, until the plant is big enuff for the large ones.. (A large AG nute is two small nutes)

-Since you have the deluxe, you wont need a figure 8 cord for the lights... but make sure you know how to set the timer to 12/12 when you need to....

-Get like 3 small desk fans (blizzard is the best)

-An ass of CFL lights... i got 2 42watt warms and 6 26 watt warms...

Get the basics down, and you're good to go

I have an aero garden setup how much can you pull out of each plant...? its big...4by2 feet....i have 20 plants in there.... 1 month vegg one month flower under a 1000watt HPS i have a Co2 system and a nutrient fogger...im useing general nutes...at the end of the two months how much do u think each plant will have on them? oo im growing Chronic, white russian, cali mist, and bubble gum...

20 plants in an aero?...talk about overgrow... good luck with the bud mold.

no way in hell you got 20 plants growing in the Aero Garden.

maybe you misunderstand what the AG is?

you havve another setup that is Aeroponic in nature and methodology?

not gonna believe anyone can get that many plants running in the AG. it is way to small and is best only for 3 at max.

my 3 females drink 1/2 gallon every 2 days.

so.......20/3=~6.66666
6.66666*.5=3.3333gallons so 20 plants would drink 3.333 gallons of water in 2 days or 1.6666 gallons in 24 hours.

the Ag holds ~1.25 gallons.

less than 24hours your plants drink up your whole res.

sorry numbers dont lie and they dont addup.

please correct me if i am wrong.

Hey Mass Blaster..I have about decided to spring for some storebought seeds on the next grow..or maybe the grow after. I am vacilliating twixt White Widow and some kinda Low Ryder. I sure like the stats on the WW but wondering the best plan for the AG. I like the two puffer for all day stuff which knock a person on the coola and makes the world look beautiful. The garbage we get around here will fry a person's lungs afore it give a buzz. Person is lucky to get the munchies out of it. Thanks for any input.

Your mom trusts you enough to give you her aerogarden when you're in high school? Amazing! Why'd she stop using it?

LowRyder is low, low quality. Too much ruderalis land race genetic stock.

Go with quality. Cannabis is easy to grow, at any height. You don't need to sacrifice quality for ease of growing.

Yea actually im in my mid 20's , she wasnt using it she got it as a gift but never opened it she offered it to my sister who lives with me but wouldnt use it , so then thats when i stepped in and took action . and as for trust lol dosent your mom trust you ? some people actually have good relationships with there parents .like i said im a beginner in the game so i will be researching
pretty heavy. just having fun with this ag for now
