Aerogarden club

thy are germinating as we speak.i have them on the canna rhizotonic 18ml/gal. to help them start a strong roo system
 
if you get the lightupgrade for the aero it comes with another lamp just bigger so you can use the cord off of a playstation2 or xbox toplug in the old lamp.you eed to get the upgrade asap so ypull have it when it i time

Yeah, we've known that for a good little minute now... personally, i think 100$ for the upgrade is a waste of dinero.. you might as well buy a cfl setup for half that or just shell out the money for a hps or sumthin of that caliber...

either way, the AERO light, standard or deluxe just aint gonna cut it when it comes to light

Thats what im talking bout... i need sumthin like that... i know its out there, but i just was lazy this crop.... light was definatly a crucial factor this time around, not how much light persay, but i had no idea how to hang those damn cfl bulbs!!!! there so odd and bulky, and you need like 8-10 nice sized ones to do the job right...

So yeah, next time around, im definatly getting something more compact...

Any ideas on how to keep a closet grow setup from reaching high temps???

My closet has never reached temps below 78F, whether the lights were on or off...

my friend has a aero that has been disassemble 1 big bucket 1 small bucket wit lava rocks and a tank water pump.. we have no idead to put the water pump back or wut it does

LOL... so why the hell did you take it apart?

The water pump, pumps the water from the rez to the pods... Read a few more threads, theres been a alot of AG modifications, maybe one of em can tell you how to put it back together again... My thing is, if you're gonna take the shyt apart, dont get one... Its a great lil hydroponic machine for first timers, all you need is more light.

Although, i have come to the conclusion, that the AG is best for CLONES... If you grow from seed using the AG, your gonna have problems.

yeah, thats should definatly do the trick. Im growing with 2 42 watt and 6 26 watt warm cfls and im doing just fine. One week from harvest. My yield isn't going to be mind blowing, but you live and you learn. Heat was my biggest problem.

Yeah HID lights are a different beast. I put a 400w HPS over my aerogarden about half way through flower and heat was an immediate problem. I underestimated my ventilation needs and ended up stressing my two plants and had to harvest early or lose everything. So I ended up with 32g. My first grow so I live in learn. But if you can keep temperatures in check the MH and HPS will make your plants explode with bud.

Yeah, imma wait until i get a little more crafty before i decide to start puttin holes in walls and doors just to rig ventilation.... To be honest it was all fine and dandy in my closet until about 3 weeks into flowering. Not only did my area experience record numbers in temps, the heat from the warm lights became to overwhelming for my room...

Im more of an outdoor grower... but i like the stealthyness of an indoor grow... im definatly going to get a better light, and have a much better set up before i plan to grow anything else... i might even order some seeds... bagseed doesnt look as delightful as some of the buds ive seen up here
 
i just got my seeds about two weeks ago from the bcbuddepot and i got the mendo purps.they were very small and white and dont look like good seeds.they are taking forever to germ.what should the ph be in the water?and are the feminised seeds uaranteed to be females?

Ph is supposed to be 5.7 to 6.5 i believe... might need to double check in the GROWFAQ.

Feminized seeds are all female, but theres a chance you can get a hermie (both male and female) if you stress the plant. But most of the time your gonna get a female.. its depends on where you got the seeds too. I've never ordered seeds, but this is what i've read from people who have.
 
What is The entire Wattage for the Aerogarden System, i just got a US Aerogarden but i live in the uk, i also bought a step down transformer that will work for anything which is 100w and under do you think this is sufficient? ooo yeah 1 problem when i 1st got the ag i had a rubbish transformer which was 45w it was plugged in for like 10-20 minutes do you think this would've damaged the AG Badly?? Advice would be much Appreciated
 
the AG is just under 60W, soo the one for 100W should be good, and i think with the other transformer....i think you just blew it, but plug it in a try, im pretty sure the AG should still work
 
Harvest time baby!!! i just wanna thank all my fellow AG users... in my opinion, the thing works great.. good for people who dont like fooling with Ph, ppm, and things like that... just make sure your rez is well oxigenated and you got a good light.... Heat was my enemy this go around, but im pleased with the final product... heres a shot...

I must have posted that pic in 10 threads by now... thats how proud i am...

Clones are the way to go with the AG... Anybody who has grown from seeds with the AG knows this... Im not touching the Ag again until i get some girls going outside...

heres one more pic of the other girl... she stopped budding due to heat stress, but she looks ready and smell delightful, and the buds are bigger than i thought
