k, i just got tho aerogarden and already have a problem. where exactly do i put the seed? do i takesout the foamy thing that came in the plastic and put the seed in there? do i need soil with it?
also how often do i put in a nute?

put the seed in the middle of the foam.first take out whatever seeds that came in out!.I dont want to lie to you about the nutes so...i had bad results with them.
get you some 3-part flora nutes by general hydroponic or something real easy to use.And you need ph up and ph down.A ph testing pen.keep your ph between5.8 and 6.5 6.3 almost optimal.Hope that helped.

Germinate your seeds in DAMP papertowel first and in a warm place.Wait till the seed cracks and you see a lil 1/4 inch tail(taproot) and then put them in the sponges.

jesus fucking christ. are we dealing with 3rd graders? read the instructions that came with the damn thing. it's pretty self explanatory once you actually look at the thing. if you're going to seriously consider growing your own bud, you need to know your equipment inside and out before you grow, or you won't succeed.

smoke a bowl and just read man. the very worst thing that'll happen is you actually learn a great deal about botany and various growing methods of cannabis.don't mean to sound like an ass, but it just seems like all the AG threads are being bombed with people wanting to be led by the hand through the process.

lol noo6.....I cant understand how people cant figure it out.....it doesnt have to be complicated, and it isnt...i dunno....the people who are serious about it will figure it out...the ones who arent probobly wont and will fail....

Yea..its so simple.People need to read first then come ask questions.That the way i did and still do from time to time,,hell theres no one that knows EVERYTHING about this shit,but people ust need to read first.Period.

yeah, sorry for the rant. just got home from work in a bad mood and saw all the step by step questions. i mean, granted i asked some questions, but i also started a journal to get feedback. that's much easier than going around asking people over and over how to do something as simple as filling the res. with water!

Moved Big Bud AG into a low roughneck 10 gal. Cut the top to fit the AG base, roots hung to high off water, didn't want to run 7-8 gals of nutes so just sat the AG in around 4 gals. and put some skirts around the gals. Right hand girl is White Widow gal. There were two but I pulled the other when I got nuts and then noticed later she was a hermie.

GH Flora, Floralicous plus, FloraNectar, KoolBloom in RO water all under open air 400 HPS and mucho air blowin like the winds in the Afghan mountains.
21 days in for the BB
13 days in for the WW

Works beautiful up to a point. I vegged to a good size using stock AG and Stock flouros which everyone seems to think suck, when in fact they are more than sufficient for vegging. The plants grew short and stocky. I was going to flower in a cabinet under CFL but when I did the math on two cabs and factored in heating and maintenence issues, it made no sense NOT to fire up the 400 in open air in a spare bedroom. That is the only reason you see the AG under CFLs. BTW, that is one Big Bud girl FIMMed then LSTed to cover the area of the AG.
