I am getting ready to post some more pics for you...I am *very* interested in this thing.

No clue. What is the ground probe for used normally?I am getting ready to post some more pics for you...
But I got a question for you
I got a Hanna Grocheck pH & TDS/EC monitor... just like the one on the photo...
I have a pH probe, a TDS probe and a Ground probe... the 4th wire is the power...
When I am calibrating, what do I need to do with the ground probe?
Does it need to be in the calibrating solution with the probes? Both pH and TDS?
Thanks for your help...
Gypsy...
hey just thought i drop it and show you how my aro garden is doing with the clones i talked about....
there one week into flower and there already showing preflowers... looks good..and im amazed how green the leaves are... i have never grow this strain in hydro befores...roots are growing like crazy
Don't mean to be a dick, I know you are waaay smarter than I am, but it is used for grounding purposes... normally...lol...No clue. What is the ground probe for used normally?
Then it should be grounded full time. Its used/needed for reference purposes in electronic equipment.Don't mean to be a dick, I know you are waaay smarter than I am, but it is used for grounding purposes... normally...lol...
Sorry... couldn't help it... lol..
A 'ceiling grow', very cool. How do you keep the water from spilling out of the tub!Don't mean to be a dick, I know you are waaay smarter than I am, but it is used for grounding purposes... normally...lol...

I guess the PPM measures conductivity...?!?!? and if so, I guess it would need to be grounded...?!?!? but Potroast said it was a part of the pH system...?!?!?
Don't know man... I just got all of them in the tank and it seems to be working right...
The pH agrees with the "drop tester" and the PPm seems right along with the Mfg. instructions...
Cheers....
Oh what did you think of the tray?
I got roots popping all over the bottom, from the seedlings, not the clones yet...
Oh, look what I just found about the Hanna Grocheck...
"TDS measurements are performed using the 4-4-2 conversion factor of 0.7 so you do not need to convert the readings. Equipped with a grounding bar to ensure more accurate pH measurements and longer electrode life. The HI 981404N is compact and easy to install and use. This makes it ideal for all continuous monitoring applications. " from... HANNA GroCheck Combo Meter HI 981404N
