aerogarden general hydroponics nutrients HELP!

so i'm reading over the nutrient table for general hydro at http://www.genhydro.com/genhydro_US/feeding_charts/GH_KeepItSimple_Recirculating.pdf and i can't help but notice that it says to mix that much of the different nutes together for 1 gallon of water. i've read from everyone that you're supposed to use weaker mixes for aero grows, but this stuff's supposed to be formulated for hydro and aero, and it says per gallon.

anyone out there have experience with gen hydro's nutes or just aftermarket nutes in your aerogarden at all? i was planning on just mixing the per gallon mix into a gallon of distilled water and filling my reservoir up. please let me know!

I do hydro, not aero...but can't you do the Lucas formula in aero as well?

For me it is 5ml Micro, and 10ml Bloom per gallon for the first 3 weeks, then 8ml Micro and 16ml Bloom for remainder.

Sorry can't help more, but I love GH nutes

Peace - OGH

sounds like a plan, i would suggest getting flora micro too, actually you need to its a three part series. and then when you start adding them, put the micro into the water first. i dunno why, something about the way the chemicals mix. i use kool bloom from weeks 3-7 then just do a pure water flush for a week. let me know how using kleen to flush works out, im intersted in trying it. let me know if you have any questions im pretty pro with flora series... haha just kidding. sort of.

so should i wait until i have micro to start the feedings? i was going to use just floragrow for veg and just florabloom for flower. let me know what you think.

yeah you need all three. see how the chart says how much you need in each phase? like the first phase is cuttings and seedlings, and it says something like 1/4 tsp per gallon for gro, micro and bloom? thats because its a three part thing. im not sure, but micro is n, gro is p, and bloom is k i think. so once you mix them to the select strength, you are making your NPK different for each phase of growth. i only feed the seedlings and cuttings phase, go into the feeding for vegetative, then go straight into the feeding for blooming and ripening, then start putting in kool bloom on top of that. i once did transition to bloom and got a smaller yield in the end. i use one gallon of water each time, and teaspoons. the chart will tell me exactly what i need, and i think you are doing a single gallon too... just follow the chart, and remember its a three part thing. you still feed them bloom when they arn't blooming, it just helps complete the meal so to speak. hard to explain let me know if you have questions. but basically, all three are needed, and you just give it more grow during veg, and more bloom during flower and always micro.

word. i ordered the micro today. my 5 babies are a week old today, with just the aerogarden sprout nutes so far. i'm going to wait another week and start the strong veg. phase according to general hydro and then go into flowering, and then florakleen after. keep posted man. take it easy

tight yeah i looked into it a bit more, the micro is needed. i used the aergarden nutes to start a seed, they are good for germing for sure, but i would stick to GH nutes for the rest. good luck though, let me know if you start a journal or anything or just post some updates on here, ill check back. peace man

Best to think of the Aerogarden, well, model number one of their range, as an expensive bubbleponic unit.

yeah. i've got the gen. hydro flora series. startin on the aggressive vegging strength after 2 weeks of growth. also looking at florakleen to flush/ripen the buds at the end. i'm thinking 2 weeks sprout, 4 weeks agg. growth, 4 weeks aggressive flower, 1/2 weeks flush. what do you think?
