aerogarden grow 1st time

I've just started my first aerogarden grow with 1 red diesel and 4 bag seeds. I've been having a hell of a time with the ph on this thing. I can basically add as much ph up as i want and my meters keep reading 3 and below sometimes it reads down to 0.

whats going on? anyone have some info on my problem? I have 2 hanna ph meters and they both read so inconsistently in the aerogarden that i don't think i can trust the readings on them. thing is i put them in regular water and it reads around 7 so i know they aren't completely f*ed up.

That is really odd, and I am really high at the moment, so I will post this to give it a bump so someone who knows can answer that question.... HAHAHA!!!

Sounds like your meter is fucked up. The PH up and down solutions are pretty effective, and only a tsp should work. Try this for testing PH, link and pic below. This stuff is easy and accurate to use. Good luck!

dude its seriously frustrating...i keep reading how easy the aerogarden is supposed to be. hope someone can help, I'll post some pics of my plants later.

1 of the bad seed plants started to lean hard so i cleaned out the res. and tried phing but once i placed the machine back on its mount the ph was reading all weird again.

I think you should really get another ph tester.
Until you can do that, go to the grocery and get some distilled water. It's PH isn't spot on, but it's closer than tap water. Course that is my experience from the tap water I have and the distilled water I bought/ The distilled water's ph is like 6.0, which isn't bad till you can figure out your ph testing stuff.

can anyone tell me what the 5 diffrent light cycle hours is there a 12/12 ? whats the best to use? or will it bud on its own? i need hlp. please.

do you know how to calibrate a meter?

24/0 24 hour light for veg

yeah the calibration solutions are in the mail...for the most part my meter had been working pretty well just freaks out whenever i put it in the aerogarden.

here are some pics of my grow so far.

in the first pic the one on the far left is the bag seedling that started to wilt when i was having those ph problems.

the largest one and the healthiest is the red diesel feminized. should i be worried about the red stem in the 3rd pic?

I've got a DP Brainstorm feminized going in soil as well but i'll discuss that in another thread. Check it out and i'm open to advice this is my first time for both the aerogarden and the soil grow.
