Plants are looking nice. I use the fox farm nutes and filtered water and found I have very little PH problems. I have found using 1/2 the reccomended amount works best. Upping it resulted in nute burn for me. Good luck!!

I'll only be gone for the day, it doesn't use much water anyway. Probably could leave it for a week if I had too. Thanks for the help all, this site has pretty much taught me how to grow single handedly. Vapes heatin' up, enjoy the weekend!

So I went ahead and made the drive to pick up some nutes. I got cal-mag plus as well as tiger bloom. I already have the foxfarms hydro grow big, (don't know why I didn't include it in the pic) I am going to be using half strength on the cal-mag and grow big. So about 1 1/2 tsp of grow big, and 1 teaspoon of cal-mag per gallon sound right? The hydro guy also said to go ahead and use a little tiger bloom, is that a good idea? He said something about phosphates...I dunno. I plan on getting this ball rolling tommorrow, so any feeding schedule advise would be great, I don't want to mess this up! Thanks all

One more thing...I was just reading the forums and a lot of you talked about turning your AG pumps off once the roots reach the water. Mine are definitely in the water, how do I turn my pumps off? Do I leave them off 24/7?
I always kept mine on when i was using the AG, so im not sure, it should be fine
hmm I think I might just turn them off, I want to extend the life of my AG for as long as possible. I feel leaving the pump on 24/7 for 3 months won't be to good for it. (On salad greens)

Loving life! She took a little hit (lower brown leaf) when she was getting used to the nutes, but shes exploding with interior growth and such a nice dark green color now. Thank you foxfarms. seems like this is a very bushy strain, which is a good thing I guess. Got yet another CFL for it, a large warm light this time. This things goin crazy! Would would you guys advise on pruning lower leaves? and should I top this baby?

I am growing clones so i leave mine on 24-7 even if i was not cloning i feel better keeping pump running to keep nutes moving over all of the roots.

regarding the pumps, I have all my lights and aerogarden (now set to 24/7 light) on the same timer so when lights go off so does the AG and fan and so forth. Airstones have their own plug running 24/7. So pumps run 18 hours a day. Got a nine finger before I topped her :joint:

i would let the AG run its pump not on the timer if you want it to turn off set it to herbs. but i would let it run 24-7 if it runs odd clean out the roots it suck up.

The brownish spots seem to be making there way to the newer leaves as well. Its not bad, but I want to make sure it doesn't get worse. I have the grow big at 1/2 strength and a tsp of cal-mag in there (per gallon). Also, about 1/8 teaspoon of tiger bloom, thinking this might be my problem, someone told me a little tiger is good during vegging but they could be full of shit for all i know...any ideas?

might want to pick ONE and run it for a week better yet may want to run clean PHed watter for a week to see if it stops. Deffinatly sounds like to many nutes at once. Like a weight lifter on steroids when his balls fall off.
