Aerogarden Purple bag seed grow

I am growing 3 purple plants. all seeds came from the same bag. the biggest plant was first started in organic soil with a 25 watt cfl and a 15 watt lamp. That was a horrible idea.
not enough light at all. so I bought an aerogarden and they've been in there since February 15th.
the biggest plant is 1 month and 3 weeks.
the second biggest is one month and 2 days.
the third biggest is 3 weeks and two days.
can anyone reassure me that these are females?
and I am about to flower on the 25th of March.

First off, very beautiful plants

Second, from my understanding, you will def find out if they are female during the first 2 weeks of flowering. Balls are males, hairs are female. Good luck!

Thanks man. Yea I want to flower as soon as possible cause the aerogardens reservoir is only 1 gallon and the roots are using up the space pretty efficiently but seeing that these plants are definitely indica light height won't be an issue. Im using foxfarm nutes too. I'll keep you posted 2 weeks into flowering for sure.

Yea, they will show sex within the first 2 weeks of the flowering cycle, good lucc man, keep us updated

I have a AG 3 and everyday I need to fill the reservoir with about 30oz of water per day. I only have one plant so imagine if I had 3. I think the reservoir can hold only about 40oz of water.

So yeah, once you get it to flower, it will start drinking more water than you! haha Keep us posted

haha yea I know the roots get big real quick in this thing.
I've also heard of topping? or fimming?? basically what im trying to say is does cutting some specific branch create 4 main colas some how?

I am 3 days away from flowering. I have the aerogarden running on the herbs cycle right now but ive read on multiple forums that the salad greens is the best cycle to run. anyone know about this one??
I have the 6 pod aerogarden deluxe setup.

Can I start to trim some of the big fan leaves now? or should i wait a couple weeks into flowering? and also I would like some clones. anyone know exactly where to cut?

I need to cut the schedule down to 12/12 and I am going to gradually do that over a 4 day period. I only need to cut down 3 1/2 hours of light time.
I scheduled the aerogardens lights to go off at 10:30 tonight originally it was 10:50
but tomorrow it will go down to 9:45. basically I need to get it down to 7 but my roommate comes into my room around 5 in the morning so I need to somehow cover up my plants while still providing ventilation. any ideas at all would helpful.

keep it on salad greens, it keeps the pump on 24/7, i wouldnt trim any fan leaves, unless you really think they need it, but again,i cant really see how the sit together, just remember they will just about triple in size during flowering

Wouldn't changing the aerogarden's cycle tamper with the light schedule? as well as you I don't want any stress to occur. I will probably switch to salad greens when I begin to flower and I will buy a figure 8 power cord to plug my light timer into.

Fa sho man, lookin good, first off, i would hook up the timer now, and just set it to 18 hours on, and 6 hours off. Your going to need a LIGHT PROOF area for flowerin, ANY light during the 12 hours off, will result in the plants turning hermie. Showing both male and female traits, its an ungly site. i'd suggest in getting at least somthing for them to sit in while the lights are off. They WILL out grow that AG hood, espically how big they are now, They will almost triple in size during flowering. The Hood is basically hallow, so you can easily drill hols into it, or what i did i uesed that small skinny blade on a pocket knife and heated it up to put a hole thru the plastic. Dont cut any leaves, there doing fine, are you planning on adding any additinal CFL's?

just cut a hole on the bottom of the container for the power cord to go through and put it under my desk with a flap or somethin to cover it all up seems like it would work. thanks man you juss gave me a great ass idea!

well I have a 15 watt lamp jus for some extra light. but I also have a 23 watt cfl that Im not usin. I think the 23 cfls equal a standard 60 watt light bulb.
but how many more do you think I should have?
hps and mh lights are too expensive for me right now but in time they'll come.

haha you and me, I would try to get a couple of CFL's at least, your how many lights are in your AG, 3 or 2? there pretty cheap, look for SOFTWHITE for flowering, you dont really need any blue spec, as you plants look great with jus the AG hood, a couple CFL's for flowering should get you good enough buds, this is only the beginning, each grow gets better and better

tight that sounds like some good news man. Yea I think Im going to go buy some more foxfarm nutrients and 3 42 watt cfls that should be good enough lighting for some nice purp.
I got 2 lights in the AG but im going to buy the upgrade kit, the one with the 24" extendable arm and 3 lights.
will a DARK GREEN rubbermaid container work? somethings tellin me light will penetrate.

wow im gonna copy the shit outta that idea haha. Ive been meanin to get a dwc system going but Im limited on space for now, if anything I'll just go buy a big black rubbermaid so no light AT ALL gets thru and then ill just keep clones in the aerogarden. I got a little too excited and sprouted 4 plants but I had to move one outside cause of space haha but thanks man you helped my ass out cause I thought I was gonna have to get rid of them plants hahha but I'll keep u posted on how the stealth situation turns out withoutta doubt. kick it easy SICC

Alright today is the 1st day of flowering. I found a figure 8 power cord off my original xbox. Saved 15 or so bucks on that one.
Timer goes off at 7p.m. and on at 7a.m.
