AeroGarden Settings

I have a separate Grow thread, but this is a general enough question that I think it's best to put it separate. I've seen many posts about the Pump/Water settings on the AG, and what each option(Strawberry, Basil, etc) does to the settings.

So here's the question: What exactly does each AG option do to the Pump/Water/System/etc settings, in terms of how long each is on, how much each puts out, and so forth?

By default, the AG has 5 settings(advanced models may have more):

Tomatoes/Peppers
Salad Greens
Herbs/Basil
Flowers
Strawberry

But the question stands: Veteran AeroGardeners, which setting should be used, and what's the difference?

atleast i replyed to your super intelligent question you asked cause nobody else wants to know, maybe it was the question for a lot of people that was most stubit.

keep on salad greens, but you NEED a figure 8 cord to connect to the lights, so you have TOTAL control

yeah, i've been using the SG setting, and my PS1 power cord, which happens to be a figure-eight model

Is it best to switch to the Tomato setting at later lifespan, as others have mentioned elsewhere, or leave it on SG all the way till harvest?

i would use salad greens
