I bought the small Aerogarden to grow 7 little clones for fun in my kitchen. The problem is, does anyone know if these units have a 12/12 setting for flowering? It has settings for 1)Peppers/tomatoes 2)Salad/greens 3)Herbs/basil 4)Flowers 5)Strawberrys Does anyone know what each of these settings does?

I use the Peppers/tomatoes setting so far because I heard weed is a lot like tomatoes. Now that my clones are 5 inches or so tall i'm starting to flower them. The problem is, i have to manually turn the lights on and off every 12 hrs. Is there any way around this?

Problem #2 is....how much nutrients per gallon should i use for these little 5 inch clones? For some reason, my babies are developing drooping leaves that curl downward and there are some browning on some leaf tips. Does this mean over-feeding or too strong of a nutrient solution?

If you buy a timer and plug the aero garden into it. I thought it had different setting which controlled the light?

That link has thirty one pages, you will probably find an answer there. Haven't read it in a while but as I recall he was doing pretty good with it. It seems like he even lengthed the cord. I'd check it out if I were you. VV

strawberry setting is 24 hours. there is no 12/12 light setting on any aerogarden. u need to buy a timer (about $10 at any pharmacy or target or hardware store) and plug the light plug in seperately. some people cut the light plug and reattach it to a outlet plug. u can do this with any pair of scissors and electrical tape. stip the wires and twist them together and wrap with the tape. for vegging u should have it on the salad green setting which i believe is 18 hours on 6 off.

problem 2 most likely is nute burn. ur using the nutrients that came with it? u really should not. the nutrients that come with the aerogarden are pretty strong and not really recommended to grow cannabis. u should go out and find some hydroponic liquid formula. i use general hydroponics 3 step flora series. about $15/bottle and u need to buy 3 bottles. and ur only supposed to use 30-50% of the recommended formula on the bottle. also cut off any dead or brown parts of ur leaves. if u act fast u should be able to save them.

also im telling u now, the aerogarden aint that great. but if ur just doing this for fun, u might enjoy it. 5 inches is a little early to be flowering but its up to u.

dude learn how to spell. im sorry but do u enjoy typing like that? 2 months and its only 5 inches tall? something is definitely wrong. 18/6 for veg 12/12 for flower. light cycles are all over this forum.

please take pictures. please be more specific. please always include ur specs for ur grow. aerogarden has many models and people need to know what you did to figure out whats wrong.
