Aerogarden WIth Growing Space Problems

Hello all, so i got the aerogarden deluxe a couple months ago and decided to plant some seeds i got one time in this bag i got of weed, lol i know, i didnt look on anything on how to grow and just did it, lol now my plants are huge!!! and ran out of space to grow upwards So now my question is, Can i trim the top of the plant because its gonna start to get burneed from the bulbs?...and if so please refer me to a good place were it can explain, i tried looking on google and etc but cant find the answer

Thanks im doing that it just sucks to try an adventure and get bummed like that.. but its good for experience so next time will do research and set up right thanks but if some one can still answer my question on if i can prune the top off while on flowering stage be great

NO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! lol please dont do it. 1.) itll most likely screw up your main cola. 2.) Unnecessary stress in flowering stage should bea voided could lead to a potential hermie! 3.) Never think that cutting the plant is the first answer ill walk you through a few things.

Now if the aerogarden hood is the only thing limiting your height and not your cab or anything then you can easily get the figure 8 cord needed for the hood from radio shack or you can use the hood as front light, put it on strings and let it light the front and get a couple 42w 2700k cfls to hand from above and your girl will fucking lvoe it. youll have tbter results, height wont be an issue, and denser nugs all over.

If this is an issue for you, you can research a method of micro growing called LSTing. Basicly its tying your plant down in a way that keeps it short while keeping the canopy nice and even for higher yield.

Take the hood off and suspend it from wire or chains

Would I have the same problem with height issues if I was to grow autoflower strains on the aerogarden deluxe?
