I wish,she'd never go for that,to her hand built stuff sucks cause it isnt cute.
The thing is she's an expert grower,she grows the shit out of legal plants,she has a sunroom in our home where she grows exotic ferns,she's just getting started with orchids.
I gotta admit it would look pretty cool in her room if it would produce some mini cola''s.

another aerogarden thread? when are people going to learn?
by the time people make thesethings actually produce a harvest they have hacked the thing apart so much and added so much suppimental shit that they could have built a real system with HPS for less money and less effort

I'm using the AG right now (2.5 months/1.5 months of flowering), and I probably have about a month left till harvest. I only have two plants... one is huge and one is small, but I expect close to an ounce. I dunno we'll see though, but look at Dave's thread. I think he got about 56 grams or so off 3 plants using the AG, and I'm using the same supplemental fixture he's got.
As for what filthy said, I totally agree. A DIY system is much more for your buck, and if I'd known what I know now I wouldn't have bought this AG. Either way, like Tek said, it's a good learning tool and easy for those who don't know anything about growing in hydro/aero. My advice to all of you is to read up on other ppl's threads, and if you think you can pull it off, build DIY instead of throwing your money into the AG. A wise man learns from the mistakes of others, but a fool learns from mistakes of his own. Make sure you have a good understanding of what your doing before you start, and this will help your yield.

This was a week ago (5 weeks flowering), they are much thicker now. The top cola is getting huge as well as the lower nugs.

Oh i agree,with me its about my wife having fun,she's like a little kid when she does stuff all on her own,i just like seeing her happy & i dont expect much more than a headache, cause i'll be the one that has to figure out how to make it produce mini cola's for her too look at.
She knows what i do outdoors & in my other house but hasnt seen any of it,she's dying to be part of it even in a small way like the areogrow.

i wouldn't have paid 150, for that i would build my own but i just got 2 for 80 bucks and might go back for 2 more... i think i came close to what i would have paid if i built one if not less correct me if im wrong minus the lights i thought 40$ was great, no??? would buildin one cost less? and as far as i kno the only modding it requires is to add a longer extension cord. but yea why do you have to use so much profane language ? spark 1 up & R E L A X

There are all kinds of threads on here with pictures of peoples success with the aerogarden....
Look in my gallery...
Search this forum for aerogarden and you can see all kinds of stuff....
The res is big enough for 1 plant and even up to 4....
You don't need a bubbler or airstone...
My PH has never fluctuated a lot and i've used it 3 times all the way to harvest...
There is no Extensive modification....
There's 7 plant sites anyways....
Some people don't have enough room to grow more than an Oz so thats just one of the many reasons why the aerogarden works so perfect...
Iv'e gotten good bud with 2 extra cfls and just extending the cord on the lighting hood...
Thats the only mod I've ever done...
It's obvious that you don't want people growing pot by the way you would downplay somthing so much...
We all need to work towards the same goal and thats getting people to grow and smoke so the shit can get legalized...
The enemy is the gov't so lets not do what they want us to do and thats to not be able to work together on issues and shit....

If you put 4 plants in and flowered them 2 weeks after sprouting I'm confident there shouldn't be any problems....
There've been people who have done it with 3 or 4...
The only way to find out for sure is to do it yourself...
Pot is a strong plants I'm sure it would survive....the yield would maybe suffer but maybe not....I'm not too sure....

I have to also defend the AG to a degree. I started my first grow about 2 months ago with four plants in the AG and while it was fun and easy to use, but if i still had all four plants in there it would be a nightmare. Three were males and one female. The fem is still in there and doing really well plenty of room for roots and the res seems to be doing fine, though i do top it off once a day.
I got my AG for a non pot related christmas present
but just had to try it out.
The big problem other than the limited res space is once they get about a month and a half there is really not enough room for them all. The cfls are pretty good but after about a week of flowering i upgraded to a 400w hps. the cfl's by themselves prob wouldnt cut it with out supplemental light.
Its nice for the beginner because its a basic hydro system that is good to introduce people to hydro but for any serious grow you really have to have a more robust system with more space. Even with the Alaskagrown pics you see he has supplemented the light.
The only exception i see to this is if your doing some lowryder/hybrid, but even doing that you would want to go with a hps. just my two cents

Did the owner of the AG company personally wrong you?
My next door neighbor have grown 3 crops using lowryder with the Ag, like 2 oz's each time...and dont ask for pics I wouldn't waste my time showing you. You have a real anger prob dude, if it was another site I would tell you, you need to smoke a joint but oh well thats the world now a days.....Hate on bro cause everything sucks right? ( except everything YOU do of course)
