Aerogarden?

i am wanting to grow dank marijuana like that best shit i've smoked since i was in OREGON! and I go to school and shit so i cant tend to it all the time. i was lookinG at the $150 Aerogarden and it seems like it does the work for you basically, is this a good groiwin system for marijuana? and i'm thinking about putting it in a 5'W x 2'L x 6.5'H closet..
do i need extra light?
do i need certain seeds?
do i need more space?
i have been reading these forums and guides and cant seem to find real help so any is appreciated. thanks all and good smokin

well my friend. im sorry to say but the aerogarden is NOT ideal for anyting.. depending on your budget you can do much better, ESPECIALY WITH 150 bucks..

so basically i should start out with a different growing system.. what would you recommend? i like the aero or hydro idea since they harvest faster but i need a closet system for only two or three plants at a time.

Have you considered doing DWC in 5 gallon buckets? This is how I'm doing my first grow and it seems to be working pretty well.

i would be up for anything if i had a whole room for growing, thats my dream. right now i only got closet space. i'm looking for a cheap small growing system to grow some low height indica strains like bubblicious and blue mystic. i wanna do hydro or aero and i know that isnt the cheapest way either.

The aerogarden guide can be found here. I used it a couple of times with reasonable success, but overall it wasn't worthwhile. You'll need to get extra lights, nutes, and can only grow 2 plants max. Also, you'll need to keep the reservoir filled with water, and during peak growth you'll need to fill it once or twice a day, so it's not like it takes care of itself. With some effort you can get decent results though.

other than all that i can succesfully grow sexy danky indica high in thc plants like the one in your avatar?? cause aerogarden is like the only thing thats gonna seem to work in a closet lol. maybe i'd get a hps and let it chill like 4 feet above the plant in a drip system? or somethin.. idk

Plants need regular tending and a correct environment. If you can't do that you would be wasting your time.

yeah so i think im not gonna do the aerogarden but i'm probably gonna go with stealth hydroponics place for a system like that, bubbles on the roots and shit. that sounds nice but im no jorge cervantes.

I used the AG with a 150W HPS, a small fan to blow over the tops, and Foxfarm nutes. I don't remember my exact yield, but it was about 0.75 oz per plant running 2 plants. I've had better success with soil, so I haven't gone back, but maybe the AG will work for you. It's totally doable.
