I just got a Daisy Cloner.

At the next 6:00 PM EST click, the clones will have been in 48 hours. I'm not peeking until 72 hour mark. I'll keep you posted.

I'm using "Olivia's Cloning Solution", "Rootech" and Hydroguard per instructions.

I wish the spinner was a jet. Now I know the concepts so I can build my own expanded system.

J,

Today at 6:00 PM I checked my clones. 96 hours in the Daisy. Little Roots are starting to pop out. The roots are too small for my camera phone to pick-up.

I'll post pics when the roots are larger.

It's working!

J,

The clones are approaching the 7th 24 Hour Cycle mark.

After the 5th 24 Hour Cycle the fluid was changed to Olivia's Cloning Solution, Flora Nova Grow and Hydro Guard.

Two look like the one in the pic. The other two still only have root stubs. The black neoprene is the 2 incher.

So far so good.

How is yours going?

Hey jeremy63! Did you get your clones to root? I got a Daisy Cloner and put some cuttings in it about 5 days ago. There is still no sign of any roots. I've already been through 5 batches of clones that croaked using rockwool, now I'm getting nervous about this aeroponic cloner.

Why does cloning have to be so complicated. Here's a link to a step by step guide on how to clone.

CLONEds

You don't need any fancy apparatus. Great results in 9 days.

I thought we were talking about AEROPONIC cloning, no medium cloning
My point is, what's the point?

Why spend more money to get the same results?

You think that if you spend the money then you're more guaranteed of success?

Cloning is easy, there's just no need to complicate it.

well when your a commercial grower, using a medium is just a cost.
so aeroponics becomes important, and staying away from mediums adds up to be savings

well for a 30 clone system the EZ clone goes for $300+

I can do 50 clones at a time for $20 first payment, and then $10 each time after.

I used to grow commercially and sell clones... i think i ended up making more from the clones than I did the bud.

Also, machinery breaks and these units are far too expensive, and unnecessary.

Just to give an update 7 out of 8 clones rooted in my Daisy Cloner and it took about 14 days. I believe the temps were a little low in the veg area which is why it probably took so long.:peace:

Hound,

Good job. 4 of my 4 rooted with the Daisy. I was going to simply grow them in the Daisy... Until they got to large and the Daisy started leaking.. I ended up planting them in Dirt... Net Pot and all.

They are going strong.
