That is odd.

I am using the same air pump for 2 years, very little rest. Quiet as a church mouse

I've got 12 years experience with air pumps and even the expensive ones that start off quiet don't stay quiet forever. Gets expensive after a while. The annoying thing is my bro has 1 spinner running off a micro jet pump 24/7. Zero issues 99% success in a 12 site system. I've got a 36 with 4 spinners running off a maxi jet and it's giving me all kinds of shit. grrr lol

Yeh, I've kept fishtanks all my life, I am 43 years old, the best and quietest air-pumps that I've not heard... is Hydro-farm, yes, after sometime the diaphrams wear out on the darn things. Hydrofarms seem to last the longest and are the quietest I've found and even these were hit and miss.

By the way, have you tried duplicating what your bro has done?

@PetFlora, Ive got some like that as well, it's like the lottery! =)

Warm temps in a aero cloner is ok.

Long as soon as they show some roots you take them out(or you WILL get the rot). I would say upwards of 80 degrees is fine. Just drop a couple frozen water bottles in if it gets warmer. Check out the link in my sig, the cloner i built held 60ish clones and i ran that pump 24/7 rooted in around 7 days w/ tap water. If they start getting roots and you arent ready just lower the water temp w/ frozen bottles to below 70.
