Aeroponic sprayer nozzle issues.

I've had the opposite results. Expensive pH/PPM/EC pens go bad even when properly cared for. Buy several cheap ones and toss them when they die
 
Buy a deep cycle timer (~60), In lpa I suggest 1-2 minutes on and ~ 5--10 minutes off. In my F & D rez I run 4/30

This should minimize debris because over watering the roots cause them to swell, making them fragile

IMG_4239.JPG 15 on 15 off and no swollen fragile roots. Perhaps try consistent cooler temps.
 
You're on the cusp, but...Until you try my suggestion you will never know how many more root hairs you could have
 
Ok ok I guess that doesn't really show much but that pic was Feb 19 and this is the 14thIMG_1655.JPG so yup on the cusp of a huge root mass lol. Oh and they are 2.5 week from root clones on the 19th so really doubt a cycle timer will do any better but to each his own lol. I've also found that cycle rate after roots are established makes no noticeable difference other than power and heat. Are you still using frozen bottles to chill you little cooler res Pet?
 
when you fine tune the feed/dry cycle (short bursts followed by short dry period)you will get a root mass that is extremely intricate, like cotton candy

you're close but you need a deep cycle timer to do short feed bursts

Look up High Pressure Aeroponics (HPA) and look for root pics

Sorry, but I deleted mine several years ago

The long skinny root is common with lpa that is over-wetted. By using shorter feed cycle the very delicate root hairs get a chance to develop. I see cotton caandy in your future. See if you can get a deep cycle timer that can be set to < 3 second on times and < 3 minute off times

I want to try high pressure as well. Just to try it.

I am thinking about building a vertical garden setup to. This is what I am really wanting to build next. Using large PVC pipe.

I finished my 4gal DWC sterilite bin last night, so much easier to deal with than the 30gal bins. Using almost the same amount of water for 6 plants than I am for one in DWC. Same clone.

I build this stuff out of curiosity, and to push my meds to the limit.

high pressure is a lot of work, I would suggest doing a really small scale build out. Only 1 bin and a few plants at most. You will need some solenoids, a high pressure pump, a bladder pressure tank and some high quality nozzles. I would over size the grow chamber as well. DTW is also recommended. Get a large reservoir tank. Bigger is better. You really need to be on top of the PH and EC here.

Each nozzle needs its own solenoid, the point here is to have them always pressurized. So when you are ready to water you don't get any large droplets. I would love to see you document the entire build out. This isn't for the faint of heart. This is a TON of work and requires constant babysitting.

To be honest with you, I have had better results with 360 sprayer head vs the 180 degree, which makes me wonder if the high pressure mist is able to feed the nutes as well. The 360 emits a thick spray while the 180 shoots what looks like little droplets. I can tell the difference between sprayer heads, as my roots are much happier with the 360.

Cannabis root systems are too big for pipes. Either DWC, Aeroponic, LPA (on a deep cycle timer), or F & D. I find F & D to be the best compromise. Aero is very finicky. The root chamber temp must be well maintained, or ele no cotton candy
