Finished harvesting most of the 400 closet today. i left each plant a few branches to reveg em. haven't tried the blue convict or the mp x mk x ck either. the gdp and kryptonite came out great. makes me want to grow in soil again.

I took clones of everything yesterday, I almost mixed up all of my bk x mk but caught the mistake and fixed it. That wouldve sucked!

I saw a few naners on the blue dream x convict kush. I know the blue dream mother had the same deal. The pollen wasnt viable and hasnt appeared to be viable on the blue dream x convict kush. Boom mutha fucka? What cross is that again? c4 x cb??

I went ahead and lolipopped the la con maybe they won't come back, I'll give it a few more weeks. She really smells good and has amazing structure.

After this Im going to utilize the 400 watt closet. Ive taken a bit of clones. So far kryptonite is what is catching my eye. I plan on doing a high stress training soil grow. Heavily topped as to fully utilize the small surface area of the 400 watt closet. During this I will start seeds and take a few clones for the next hydro grow. I plan on ditching the hydroton and going straight rockwool. Possibly with a cocomat?

was able to densely utilize 80 percent of the 4 x 4 flood table. I wish it looked like this across the whole table. A couple of late showing males fucked that one up

ice x cb got a great spot (dead center) in the flood table. starting to pack weight and show purple hues on base of calyx.


used botanicare samples for veg and early flower. made a quick change to maxi bloom and kool bloom. gonna start flush this weekend i think.

Some fat colas mang! and I can see why you liking that krypto looks like some fire......I feel ya on switching the hydroton it is a pain to deal with ,rockwool cubes and coco mat sound like a good idea but I have never tried,I know rockwool cubes and a rockwool mat works great.....only downside is plants have to stay stationary...but roots get massive! Any ways be waiting on a smoke report....woot woot!

It may appear I have shit dialed but dont lol! I can grow soil flawlessly but this hydro was a pain in the ass this time round. I fought this one the whole way!

Hey bro whats up. That krypto is whats left after two harvests! Those are bottom nugs. You can see what I mean huh? Ive never heard of a rockwool mat, that makes more sense. How often you flooding for rockwool?

I forgot last weekend about you....ill try to get it out this weekend.

Considered going rockwool into straight perlite Aev? I`ve seen some good results with rockwool, perlite, and your pots and not much else other than the feeding(s). Have to flood just slightly more often, may be just as finicky as your hydroton though

Sounds like a cheaper yet just as effective method. Seams like perlite will help increase the air intake for the roots as rockwool has a tendency to water log.. I think i will give that I a try.

No prob mang......yeah the rockwool I flood about 3x's a day but you know it differs from room to room and climate in your region......in summer I flood 1 or 2 times more....you know it gets hot as hell over here......and super dry

Cheaper, more aeration, and will still hold moisture real well. Not to mention it doesn`t break down like the hydroton. Good luck Aev, I`m sure you`ll have no issues mate,

Yea ill get it dialed. I think I have a box of 6" rockwool cubes in the garage somewhere.

To start things off here is some shatter I made, hard as a rock at room temp. BHO extraction using leaf from my previous 400 w soil grow. Yielded about 8 g of wax. I took a couple grams and 'winterized' it using everclear 151. Here is the final product. Both the wax and shatter taste great.



Harvested some of the top nugs last night. Again I will harvest all of tops. Up ppm a bit and let bottom nugs get a bit of weight. Wont get much smokeable nugs (to my standards) but it really helps for the hash yield.

BK x MK (C) keeper pheno - Smells like bk with more of a mk bud structure. Curious as to how the high is going to be. Yield increased from BK but decreased from MK.


I am impressed with the BMF. Packed on some nice weight. Somewhat of a bland smell...almost like peanutbutter? Definitely on the sweet side. Nice purple underside of the calyx.

I really like how the jedi performed. Nice densely packed nug. Looks like ill keep this one around too.


Lush hermied on me as well as CK x Lush. Nice looking nugs but I dont think I will continue to grow. Lush actually grew male flowers and pollinated a bit of my crop. I caught it early on but nugs were pretty fat so I allowed her to stay.


E11 is really performing nicely. High yield, nice structure and smell. Ill be keeper this one as well. Clones very easily.

Nice work Aev, got some nice strains there, that BMF looks insane, great color and calyx structure! Got a couple of those beans from HC, wanting to pop them with the Calibands and Cindys for my next run. Is that CK Cataract x Lush? That sounds like a winner to me if so. Your shatter made me hungry for bacon mate, haha, ATB, keep that tightness coming,

CK = corleone kush. I think I couldve done much better on this hydro grow. Maybe next time with the rockwool.

Ill be using the 400 watt and closet for veg. All of these clones are in soil so I may move them under the 1000w and use table to collect runoff water. Come to think of it I never used 1000 for soil.

I would need a huge space to justify a 1000w personally. I get by great with 400/600, I like the heat differential, I have the 400 for my CK`s about 8-9in above the plants without air-cooling without much issue ... the 1000 would be another story altogether. Thanks for the clarification on the Corleone too Aev. You typically use F+D for your hydro runs?
