The biggest danger I think is the night vision gear. The other hardware is a concern but any covert attack on the ground by regular soldiers in the night will not be possible. Sticking out like a beacon in the night.

And why would you level a country when the people that bombed the airport are some small terrorist group? The people trying to get out of Afghanistan do not deserve to die. the ones that decide to stick it out under the Taliban do not deserve to die. Even though I would be ok with bombing the Taliban, the bombs at the airport and hotel was not instigated by them but ISIS. You seem to have little regard for millions of innocent people, it does not shine a kind light on you.
I rarely post in the other sections. Too much time just keeping up here. I don't have much to offer the other sections. I have almost got my growing in order, will know in another year. I do post about my growing more in another site, I have more relevance there rather than here. The big reason I post in the political section is to counter disinformation. I am pretty good at googling. Once Trump is put away in jail and his cronies exposed I would guess some of us may widen our horizons.
Nope. the Republicans want to tilt the table so that the poor are on their own and the rich get tax breaks. The democrats want to save society, a bit of a pipe dream but ok. It is just a question of what kind of future you want. A Trump led Republican party may end up as a watered down Nazi experiment, the Democrats with a wind turbine for every garage. Nope, they are different.
Much worse things to be obsessed about, you know, the future and all that.
