Afghan kush ryders at 70 days today, opinions on when to harvest would be appreciated

so any opinions on when i should harvest would truely be appreciated! i was thinkin next saturday a week from today! but at the same time i noticed there a dark purple or black happeningto my leaves and even my true leaves so i was worrien about that thinkin maybe i should harvest this weekend. cause weekends are when i have the time to do my harvest weekdays i work so much so if i dont do it this weekend theyll begoin till next weekend! PLEASE HELP GUYS THIS IS MY FIRST GROW AND I DID PRETTY GOOD SO I DONT WANNAFUCK IT UP NOW PLEASE HELP!!!

see the black or dark purple on the tips of the leaves there and it looks like its takin over those leaves so what do you guys think i should do??? PLEASE HELP!!
once again its my first grow and i did farely good for my first one and i dont wanna loose it so i would appreciate opinions thanks again guys truely appreciate it

give them a week if that is all the time you can I think they have 10-14 days left for those white pistils to mature

did your temps drop ?
and all the AKR's ive ran have had a bit of purple to them
you could harvest a couple now and then the rest in a week or two its up to you but most of those look really close if not harvest able

its really up to you its a personal preference thing
you would have to smoke a early plant and a later one to know what you like trial and error

id say about 14 days more or so Mine usually go about 75 days from when the seed germinates but ive had them go as long as 90 days

More time, more bud imo. Check the tric color under a microscope and see if it's at least half amber/milky vs clear. Otherwise I would cut a node off one of the plants and see how it smokes.

thanks for the info guys the anticipation got to me and i chopped em down did good for 5 plants got 4 lbs wet so excited to see when it dries what it weighs
and whats the proper humidity and temp for a drying room my rooms at 69 and 35-40% humidity is that bad?

you want 50-60% humidity it will be harsh and not burn consistently if dried too fast. I usually go for a 7-10 day dry but I trim the plants whole. See if you can get the humidity bumped up (reduce air flow is one way in a small space but the air will need to be exchanged) and get 5 days or so before jars

What did you use to grow those bad boys? lights, nutes, space of room? They look really good

depending on how trimmed it was you probably averaged atleast 3 oz a plant not bad at all brother

and thanks tekdc911 means alot brother im happy with them. is it normal for them not to dank when there drying in the drying room? cause they dont reek! like they did when they were on the plant?

and budget buds i used botanical pro grow and botanical pro bloom and all the way through with liquad karma at 10 ml/g and the odd dose of monster bloom 1/2 tsp
fed plants every other day used a 50/50 mix of soil and perlite in 2 gallon pots under a 600 watt hps bulb and had them under cfls up to 3 weeks old kept and temp was at a constant 88 degrees and humidity was 35-40% all the way through sometimes lower and i never misted the plant once just straight waterings i did alot of things wrong with these plants brother and they still turned out mint give em a whirl they smell and look great good luck brother
size of my room is 5' wide by 4' deep by 6' high

ya most auto's dont really dank up until a month or so in the jars
they have a lower odor to start with most of the time but the AKR's i know for a fact dont really get there stink on until after cure

just dont let it be deceiving as soon as you fire it up it reeks to high heaven even with out a cure

did you get a baby shit pheno ? i have to ask lol like baby diaper and cheese >.<
i had one out of the 15 or so that just smelt horrible luckly it was in a party cup other wise it would of snuck past the filter

They are looking good like most have said here, about 7-10 days from the first pics and should be mature enough to start trimming

Start flushing now uve gone too long if u have more than 30% amber the plant matures even when cureing they might all end up amber after the cure

I grew out an AfganKush Ryder a few weeks back, and wow. This strain is the real deal. Trichome coverage was beyond any auto I've encountered so far. One of those strains that looks so good it's damn near impossible to let it sit and cure without smoking it all in a weekend! So fast in flowering, too. If you are the patient type, (most growers are), these are done before you know it. 10 out of 10.
