after curing for a week do i not open it up anymore?

after i cure it for a week do i still have to open the jar everyday?

I do so i can pull a fresh bud out everyday to smoke it ::

no you don't. in fact, after 3 days, i only open it once a week for 2 weeks, then once more after the first month. the overstock stays in the jar till i need it and you can keep it for 2 years under the right conditions. see my post https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/372994-last-few-days-flushing-harvesting.html

I like to open the jars 2-3 times a day for half an hour to an hour - I think 2 weeks is a good amount of time after 2 weeks hanging...after that once a week or so...I've never had mold in the few grows I've had.

How long do you keep the jars open?

It really depends on how much bud, how much air, how dry your environment, how wet the bud is when it goes in. Better to judge it by the uniformity of the moisture in the bud. Properly cured bud will seem completely dry in almost all regards, the main way you can tell it's not really dry is that it won't crumble when you squeeze it gently. How dry is really a matter of taste, but the key to curing in my mind is the uniformity of the moisture left.
