Alec, you need to go. Lots of vets there, the last "after the harvest" BBQ all the vets bonded. There were 5-6 Vietnam vets there and they were all happy to be in each others company. My trim buddies are Vietnam vets and they came last year and had a great time, I'm sure they'll be again this year.
Hey your only 20 minutes away, if it gets to be to much for you, you can just get in your car and be home in 20 minutes.

Exactly what the wife has told me. Last BBQ I drove nearly to the gate and had to turn around after a few minutes of trying to adjust.

I have high hopes for this next BBQ though, I spent all summer getting out of my comfort zone in preparation. One year ago I had to psych myself up to get the mail and every little sound was a possible mortal danger, or so said my mind. Things have vastly improved since then. :D

I look forward to meeting everyone.

Yeah I know man ...just had a hard couple weeks mate just the fact you guys pick me up a bit without meeting me in person confirms my first impressions of you all that ya are all decent ppl, for that im grateful im slowly getting my groove back...

Man its coming quick! Its been a hell of a year i am more than ready for the bbq! Heading back up this week going to go see nuggs i heard what happened i am still in shock about hodge. What a hell of a great guy. Renting a car and i am hitting the highway! What can i do or bring jj? I should have a few snacks like purple mr nice grand master and some others as well : )))

I wish I could bring clones, Maybe next year. But I can't wait till the BBQ. I already have the everything setup for wife and kids that weekend so I can go. Curing my GSC and a couple other strains to have you all check out. Small grow this year unfortunately so I don't have a ton to bring. I do have a gram of some dry sive GSC hash I made the other day. hand rolled using a FU*!ing hot bottle as per frenchi. I can't wait,,, i can taste that pig already.

Not sure what food I should bring though. Moneys little on tight side with newborn but I'll bring anything we need. Oh and are some camping out there sat night or is everyone going to a hotel. I was thinking of camping but only if others are as well.

im almost hating this thread....I love camping aint nothing better than gd smoke couple dozen beers and sitting around the fire all night sharing yarns

So true. Was so mad last year getting the flu the day before the BBQ. year before my daughter got really sick with flu and wife was working so I had to miss it. I got flu shot this year and wife is off work so nothings gonna stop me.
