Will I go through Marysville on the way to CFW? Maybe I'll grab a room on my way to the lake if I do drive through MV.

Intent.... Love that word.

If I get a motel on my way then if I get locked in at least in the morning I can drive to my unused motel room and take a hot steamy shower and zip back to BBQ....clean and refreshed. :-) :-)

I doubt that will f me up as I have a very high tolerance to all things cannabis... so far. :-) :-)
LMFAO.....@Sam, you haven't tried Fumbles treats yet. You better bring that sleeping bag and pillow:hump::sleep:.
Don't stress Sam, they'll be a room for you somewhere, Rocklin, Marysville, trailer, campground, tent, you'll be fine. Just bring a bib for the BBQ and goodies!

Im tempted to say because your a woman your thinking about the solution to in depth...

A man would just drive straight through the fence.
Don't think that did not occur to me LOL

I'm thinking I will put a pillow and a blanket in the car just in case. I canceled my reservation at the Fairfield Inn to get closer to the BBQ. Lady I talked to at CFW said Marysville was closer so I was kind of thinking I'd probably find a vacancy without a reservation, but I'm not sure because Beale AFB probably helps fill up motels on weekends. Oy.
:-)
I don't think you have to worry about Beale. They have TLQ. So many stay on base.

It's still federal property, & they don;t recognize medical cannabis, so be careful with any mmj items on BealAFB.....
Bring nothing, NOTHING if you pass through or lodge at Beale. Security Forces runs a tight check point at the gates that operate, in the last year narc dogs and random vehicle inspections have increased.

@doublejj I was thinking I would head over on Friday morning and help you set-up, any approximate time of arrival? Is there anything I can bring to make things easier or quicker? Any supplies needed still?

@S'Manta Unless there is a dirt bike event in the Yuba or Feather river bottoms expect lots of vacancies in hotels, finding a room in the Yuba-Sutter area is simple nearly year round. Beale only has about 1200 service members including recruiters from other branches, low impact population wise.

All the roads but the last few miles are freshly refinished highways, smooth ride on 65/70 around CFWL.

Thanks JJ, I think about that all the time and try to never carry on a base. So the other day on the way to the commissary at Edwards we drive through the gate and I notice the guard looking at me oddly.

After we drove away from the gate my hubby says, you forgot to put a bandaid OVER your basal cell! I liberally slather my basal cell with high grade pure concentrate. Hubby mentioned that if the military dog launched through the window at me he was going to disavow any knowledge of my predilections.

LOL. I think it was a 420 BBQ and there was a lot of people in the campgrounds . Someone tried to drive up the embankment and flipped their car over.... lol

The first year Gopeds buddy and Justadude got locked in.

What is "federal property"? The lake? The no tell motels? I don't plan on going to Beale....do I have to drive through it to get to the lake??
