Thank you Growmomma. I'm working on a new cab now. Just a little bigger, I needed one more grow area.

How close do you put your 400? I'm a little further away than I'm used too...its about 12" above the screen.

my medium is coco..... im getting kind of worried tho... cause all my plants are huge and i still have 3 weeks to go in order to chop em down... if i dont get more then 24 oz ima be very disapointed n throw everythin out da window... all my plants are full of bud...well see how it goes in 3 weeks

Thanks Rak,too bad I had to delete the videos they were fun.... I didnt track it that much, back then, I used the TDS meter to keep an eye on root rot mostly...That little res is tricky...I run H&G and in the AG I pretty much followed the chart...That said I run my veg around 600 to start,then up to 750 but I only veg three weeks or so these days...I flower at around 1400 to 1500 max at the end...

Thanks for your input! This thread is a great help! Do you have any current journals going right now?

One other question. I have been worried about the water temp in my res. I obviously have the lights as low as they go (approx 6") since my seeds just sprouted. The temp in my system is hovering around 74. How did you regulate your temp in that cabinet? I know you have the fans and air stone, which I also have. My grow is in a closet that is around 5'x6', so space is not an issue. I'm thinking it is just that high because the lamp is so close to the res. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I had problems with res temps until the canopy filled in. Try some kind of sheet of something like panda film or milar that you can cut holes for the seedlings but cover the res...reflect the heat back away...74 aint too bad though...I have exhaust fans in the top on my cabs...and I use co2 for the heat...

I do not have a current grow journal...but a current grow of Sub Cool's, Jack The Ripper, and a Grand Daddy Kush strain from a friend of mine from another site...I've ran both before and had to have another go at both before I move on to some Alien Dog strains from Evolution...


I made this slide show the other day...

The big cab is running 600w hps, the old cab that had the AG in it has a 400w hps both have co2 going...DWC res....3.5 gallon buckets in the big cab and small storage tubs in the old cab...
