It might be deal time for Mark, but only if he can deliver Republican congressional heads, they don't need him to put Donald away for good, so not much of a deal to be had there. However, Mark controlled access to Trump and knows about all the pardon requests from congress, we only know about a half dozen, so far. If he rat's out enough congress people to Jack, he might just earn himself a get out of jail free card, or a reduced sentence and limited charges.

If Jack could nail Gym Jordan and a few others I'm sure it would make his day. The job is not done until he goes through congress over the J6 conspiracy, and he would be doing that this year and next if Mark and a few others crack. Arrogance, stupidity and hubris lead them to this point of a provable conspiracy with receipts, witnesses and no shortage of rats.

I think they cut a deal to avoid some tender areas that might incriminate Milke unnecessarily, we will see, but I think Jack wants to know everything and everybody involved, especially congress people and government employees, like those Trump slid in after losing the election.

You are old enough to remember Watergate, it will go like that, only a million times bigger and will cause a historic shitstorm before it is over, which could take years. Jack will financially ruin more republicans than he indicts as they all lawyer up to save themselves when testifying. When Jack is done with this shit a democratic congress will pick it up again and add in Jacks work to their own and start calling republican witnesses and costing them money. There is unfinished business over J6 for congress, they never really finished their report and after Jack it will need version 2 as Jack will fill in many blanks and new shit will come to light.

Our current bizarre political scenery started with the aftermath of Watergate if you think about it.

Right wingnut radio started up filling the afternoon air waves with utter terror of socialism, the Reagan Administration fast tracking the citizenship of Rupert Mudoch so he could own more than 20% of American TV stations and their news divisions (because Walter Cronkite and Huntley & Brinkley were entirely too fucking objective) and then 30 years later comes the great messiah Trump who doesn't even have anything resembling traditional conservative values but managed to win against a vulnerable candidate who took Michigan, Wisconsin & Pennsylvania for granted, and then snuck in the back door via the electoral college in the biggest election fluke ever.

Then, after losing the midterms, he loses reelection and insists it was fraud, gets the Rupert Mudoch TV stations to back up the lie and then fuel an insurrection, leaves DC with classified files and a $2 billion family enrichment while screaming "Hunter Biden" who got $60K a month for a board of directors seat.

But the biggest con is getting people to send him money while they bitch about the price of groceries and gas. If times are rough the solution is to send $20 to a supposed billionaire who shouldn't need a fucking nickel.

The fake electors were part of the J6 conspiracy and that has a lot of moving parts, but it means many people could be charged with conspiracy(s), very serious crimes, where rats who plead guilty and cut deals help a lot in fingering the others. It's part of Jack's remit and Jack doesn't fuck around, he is very fast and someone you would not want gunning for you.
