Ag grower hello everyone

was just wondering im currently 11 days from seed i have 1 strawberry haze and 2 nlights x godbud strawberry is feminized nlights is a ? mark the strawberry is taking off beautifully she has had her first rigid set of leaves puff out wide raised a little and is currently pushing out the second set and is about 2 in a half 3 inches out from the sponge and looking very strong and healthy realy nice and green!! at that i was just wondering when is the usual idea to start bending/ lst or clipping/topping? and advice is appreciated thank you =)

I would topp after about 6 nodes or so, but you can so it earlier, any pics of the ladies?

kk thank you thats sort of what i was thinking this will be my first grow after a long time waiting and alot of reading and just acknowledgeing myself with it all ive been a smoker for 10 years and have always took big interest of starting on my own and now i took the first steps,, as soon as i can find my digital camera cord ill put some good pictures up but for now im gonna upload them mobile.. and i forgot to mention i dropped a afghan kush feminized the day before yesturday also

o no nothing wrong with her at all shes feminized by dropped i meant put er on in the ag =) lol shes already sprouted out of seed i positioned her and shes headin towards light

lookin good man, make sure to cover those grow sponges, and you can turn off the AG pump, and let the air stone do the work

ya i started using the nutrients about 3 days after seeds were placed i used about a 1/4 tblsp per gallon and the ag only hold a little under a gallon to the fill up point plus i have no ph tester yet so im just takin it easy using a mix of tap and rain water because i know rain can be a little on the acidic side but all looks well so far and im very excited and anxious! will the plant be fine to grow without the pump even though the roots havent reached water yet? ive already thought about it after reading ur advice in other posts ur actualy the dude i was lookin to get info from lol im a little on the broke side as to getting a 8 cord but can i just splice the wire to a regular wire fitting and be good im good with electrical but dident know if that was possible lol and another whats the reasoning of covering the sponges? thank you for advice

you do have an air stone and air pump right? thats why i suggested turning off the pump, because you dont really need it. Im sure you could splice the wires if you kno what your doing, and connect it to a timer, you still have time to get the stufff you need. just veg hem out until you get the right supplies, the airstone is KEY when in DWC, the AG pump is ok, but it causes alot of mold which i see frequently, so that's why you need the bubbles from the air stone. and you need the timer to control the light cycle. and you need to cover the sponges in that they can get moldy fro too much light reaching them, light/heat + damp growing medium = MOLD

kk gotcha ya i have an airstone its a little 2" ball stone though i need to get a 6" fersure! i was thinking about shutting it off but i wasent sure about it so i did it here n there an hour or so out of the day to get the roots extra oxygen n what not. but will they plants stay alive and still grow with just light untill they reach the water?

well i would leave it on until you get a bigger stone, and get some bubble action

kk will do on the airstone! i mean theres alot of bubble action out of the one stone but its just in the ficinit area of the stone so deff understand where ur coming from!! also today while i was at work the little 2nd node that was popping out in the first picture has gotten quite big today =) pics to be posted in about 20 mins just gotta wait for fiances friends to leave lol.... thank you for the help once again!

update from tonight

so far so good

im starting to already beleave that one of the nlights are a male it looks way to healthy and has no white fuzzys on it unlike the the fem strawberry and the other nlight i know its still WAY too early but thats my hypothesis lol

fersure lol. so the first true node would have been the first two rigid leaves that came out correct? and the 2nd node would be the second set of leaves then i would snip ? for topping above the 2nd node?
