Not long at all actually, somewhere around 4 weeks. They get most of their vertical growth during flowering

Yea some humidifiers are like $25-30 range at walmart.

Yeah I've been looking at the cool mist humidifiers because i heard regular ones raise the temp. alot and my temp. is already a little high(80ish). But I read about the cool mist ones one here and it is supposed to bring down the temp. a couple of degrees if anything.

So I read around on the website and heard that you could but a bucket of water in near the plant and it would raise the humidity. I did that yesterday and the humidity went from 38% to 45% but then today I checked and it dropped to 36% so i have no clue. I also read that humidifiers can be bad during flowering, not really sure why though or if that applies to the cool mist ones.
Any thoughts??

So I got some pics but they are from a couple days ago. The plant is looking even better now. You can even see some trichomes forming on small leaves now. I'll probably get some newer pics pretty soon.
You can see that some of the fan leaf stems are turning red. I thought that was nute deficiency?? not sure.
Also by buds are doing ok but don't seem to be forming to fast. My bulbs are 2000 lumens so all together I have 12,000 lumens plus the AG hood. Is that enough light output??

What is the wattage on those bulbs?
23w/26w bulbs are listed @ 1700 lumens
for a 3'x3' space you want 16,000+ lumens.
AG pro/deluxe hood (3 bulbs) is 4860 lumens.
You have an overpowering amount of side lighting relative to your top lighting.

Yeah I have 30w/2000 lumen cfl's. Do you think i would be better off putting the cfls more over the top of my plant and using the hood as some side lighting?

Yea, I was going to say that earlier.
But its not going to be symmetric, I was going to use my AG hood as a side light and I ended up just throwing it on top of my cfls.
Heres what I think you should try..
You can make a kind of circle with your cfls at the top, then shine the ag hood through the middle, all at the same level
Or you can rotate those 90 degrees so you will still have the hood from the cfls mounts. (parallel to the ag hood)
If that doesn't work just throw the ag on the side.

Yea man that second picture you made, thats what i want to do because the buds on the top are doing ok but the ones a little farther down where the cfls are, are doing way better. Im gonna put some eyelet hooks on the other sides the the fixtures so i can hang them all different ways.

Cool deal,
I forgot you had one light out in the AG hood.
The only thing about the circular setup is that some of the CFL light is going to leak up to the top, so you might want to have the CFLs a little bit lower than the hood.
Your side buds are probably doing better because of the light frequency you have on the cfls. The AG hood is a more of a full spectrum light, and the cfls are pretty much pure 2700k.

So I moved my cfl's up near the top of the plant and now the top is filling in nicely. All the buds are starting to get a nice coat of trichomes on them. Not sure of the strain im growing but it is starting to get a distinctive skunk smell.

Oh yeah, I was also wondering what some other people have had for an average flowering time using the AG hood and cfl's. I know different strains have different flowering times but maybe just an estimate for in the AG?? I'm not sure but I believe my plant is now in the 5th or 6th week of flowering.

So my plant is doing good. In what I think is now the 6th week of flowering. The buds are starting to come along nicely. The stems coming to the fan leaves are red but at this point i don't know what it is or care much. Plant is doing fine otherwise. Almost wish I had some more cfl's.
