Thanks for the info:lol: mm hopefully there's nothing wrong but I'm using a 2 2700 k soft whites & 2 5500 k cool whites .. the strain I'm using is top skunk 44 I think the name is ? From attitude also I would like to add more but it just gets to hot in this area I have it in uhh I got an inline fan but don't know how to wire it up -_-

Thanks for the info ! I'll probably try both of these ideas asap ! Hm where can I get a pc fan ? & how much do they usuall charge for one ?

radiooshac, 10-20. how close are the lights? 85 isnt too hot if youve got decent airflow in your box. as long as your under 90 I wouldnt worry about heat, unless you see some obvious heat damage of course.

first thing that came to my mind was
- the type of soil
- the soil looked dry (when watering make sure water isn't too cold. water should be room temp)
- circulation
- humidity (usually new sprouts need higher humidity) you can buy domes to cover the sprouts. Then spray the inside ceiling of the dome, this will increase the surrounding humidity by 10-20%. You can also make your own humidity dome by using syran wrap.

I use promix, it doesn't have big chunks in it, has lots of vermiculite for moisture and aeration. great for seedlings to span out their root systems.

Uhh it doesn't look good :-( my fan shut off today , & I think it got toasted... the stem is really skinny ! Pale green color ughh.... would you happen to know if seeds are effected by that ?

I'm using scotts potting soil & scotts garden mix... also I put very little bit of vigoro tomato & plant food in it... uhm should I mix the dirt with water ? & the fan went off today -_- anyway to save from HEAT DAMAGE ... I know the humidity was around 20 % but is that really bad ? Mm I have syran wrap but how would I go about making a dome ? thanks for the help btw hope I'm not asking to many questions:weed: uhm & one more thing haha where would I get this "promix" I'm gonaa assume that's some kinda soil ? Thanks again

Seeds that haven't popped out of the soil yet? If so...then as long as they stay moist they should be fine.

seeds are really hardy in my experience, ive fucked up and left a tray outside in a bad spot and the temps in it were unbelievable, the water in the bottom of the tray(the seeds are not sitting in the water, the peat pucks have a lil stand for the pucks in their trays) was so hot it burned you when you touched it. I figured they were dead so I didnt really pay any attention to walking all the way to their spot and focus on the other, i ended up coming back like 4 days later and they all were sprouted and looking healthy.

Haha I wonder how you forgot them there:leaf: You have your own seeds or you buy them from somewhere ? I got mine from attitude. I don't think there just as good -_-. The reason I was asking about the heat fucking up the seeds is cause on Sunday I put two in the soil & have yet to see any life, but hopefully they pop out soon or something or its money down the drain... & I'm just curious but how those sprouts come out in the end

they ended up all doing pretty good, took em a bit longer to really start heavy vegging though compared to the others. they were just bagseed from some good bud, nothing special really. if they dont sprout in the next 2 days or so you might want to check up on them and see if the seed germed at all yet or if it really is dead.

does that garden mix soil have added nutes?
Regarding the tomato plant food, the plant definitely doesn't need nutes that earily.

Regarding the humidity dome. Its way easier to buy a dome. but if you have to make one use syran wrap and cloths hangers. you have to be a little creative. make your frame first and size it to your bucket or tray or whatever then get syran wrap and mold it to the frame. poke a few holes at the top.

Ok they were germed I know that. I use the paper towel method :] but the seed looked dry ! Wonder how that happened ?

uh green itjust has the regular nutes. my germed seeds dryed so i just put some new ones in the soil without any "extra" nutes. ima get too reading that & i think ill just buy a dome . thanks for the info
