Hello all this my first grow I know the first rule of grow club is don't talk about grow club but I have to brag and need an outlet and also appreciate information sharing. Here you will see 4 plants 3 northern lights 1 white widow and one random bag seed that I am practicing topping and defoliating just to see how a plant reacts... If it Croaks Owell lol. So here we go and a big warm Hello let's lick it and light it!

Grow:
Tent: 4x4 mylar tent

Medium: miracle grow moisture control... Lol don't judge I didn't know about the 40dollar a quart bags when I started.

Nutrients: ff trio and worm shit

Lights: 600w mars hydro led

Fan: six inch and 18 inch carbon filter approx 160 cfm on the fan ad I get neg pressure.

Forcast: average 82 humidity 52%

Any help or questions please feel free to contribute. Thank you! 20150824_181637.jpg

I wish I did too...but I honestly didn't think of it I had a cool pic of everybody at different sizes starting with the one in the top left when she was a seeding and the widow which is top right wasn't even up yet. But top left is a northern light that I saved I tried an experiment and put it in all worm castings. It didn't drain too well and became too stretchy and so I transplanted her twice actually. It just shows that you can mess up and it'll take it to some extent.

A few tips. If i am mis-informative let me know.

Big bloom and worm castings have no use with time released fertilizers.

I also cant stress this enough, keep that Fox Farms trio closed untill your plants get hungry! Probably take a few months in fabric pots like that.

Do not, what so ever try to flush or overwater that soil. If anything you probably want to keep watering to a minimum.

Keep that pH balanced

Thank you... Thing is I'm already into flowering nutes tiger bloom gb 3tsp bb 2tsp and tb 2 tsp... I followed the chart. I am very anal about the pH 6.3-6.5. I know I shouldn't have used that soil hindsight is 2020...my friend used Orchid soil whatever that is and his plant is dying from the bottom up. I only removed a few leaves here and there that got spotted nothing major... What do you think I should do about flushing at the end then? Also do you think I can till and re use the soil and have more control over the nutes for a second run? Or should I just get something totally organic? I water honestly when it's bone dry and it surprises me to pick up the pot how light it is..... Thank you for the reply. I love learning

Ok let me put it this way.

Miracle Gro moisture control contains time released nutrients. Whenever you get the soil moist/wet you activate the little nutrient balls in the soil which release synthetic nutrients. The plant is getting fed a decent amount every watering regardles of what you put in. flushing will still release some nutrients into the soil even at the end of flower. I don't flush, i dont use bottled nutrients or any synthetic nutes,i dont sell either, i just grow for myself. Just harvest after a few days of dry soil without flushing. Im not trying to tell you what to feed but If it were me, i wouldnt feed shit untill she gets hungry. It will lessen toxicities, salt build ups,ph swings and give you better control of your soil in the long run when you actually need to pour bottles in.

Yeah I get ya SPL. It's what I had on hand at the time I had a big ole bag left over from planting Gerber daisy's. Next grow will be different soil and no time released stuff, I didn't even think about it until after I was set up and started researching and read some grow guides on my kindle. No sell here either. I got a child and a good medical career and a nice life and growing is illegal as is for now in my states. To be honest, I enjoy it. It's so nice to watch something sprout up and evolve and in the end falls coming should prob be about harvest time and bon fires and a lil smoke with the miss are my favorite things. Plus if you had to see what I had to go through just to get a bag anybody would grow lol. Thank you for the information please keep it coming if you see anything wrong because the ultimate goal of this is to not need and not buy seeds. I got 11 more widow seeds left gotta Turn one into a mom and learn how to clone and set up a mom/veg set.
