Exactly...If I bring in fresh air, the air in my room would have to flow outside the room. I cant have any smell where I am....

Im looking at the inkbird thermostat exhuast and heat plug. Shoot man maybe just the thing you need also. Im working on a room out in the garage its like one of only thermostat controllers i can afford at about 30 bucks if it can vent my room at 83 and also kick a heater on at a set temp.
Any one use inkbird plugs?

So I was talking to a friend of mine about ventilating two small tents w one 200cfm exhaust fan. The conversation got around to controlling the room the tents were in instead of just the tents.. we discussed several different options and I was wondering if anyone on RIU could throw 2 cents in the pot. Here’s what I’m working with.

I don’t want to use an intake fan if I don’t have to.

200cfm 6inch in-line fan.
My house has an attic fan
The room is 10x15x10.
the room has two windows.
3 speed ceiling fan.
2x2x5 tent
3x3x6tent
I was wondering if I could ditch the exhaust fan all together and just leave the window facing my backyard open with the ceiling fan running. The. Cutting on my attic fan twice a day to flip the air in my house. Once in the morning, once at night. Or running the in-line fan through the two tents and out into the room with a window open and the ceilingfan circulating the air out..

ps!! My grow isn’t necessarily something I have to hide but I don’t want it to be to permanent in case I have to stop suddenly. And I don’t want ducting all through the room either.
Not if your using the tents you cant no. There will be nothing exchanging the air / removing the heat from the tents.

You could set up two filters with a Y duct to the fan and then let the ceiling fans and extractor take care of the air exchange in the room.
Or do as Shishka has with his fan filter set up, though obviously your not running a sealed room with co2 and AC.

Your drawn diagram will not work as it looks, though its hard to tell exactly what it is, it looks like you have a fan pulling through one tent and then another. That wouldn't work.

So right now I’m running a ceiling fan in the rooM at full speed with one window fully open, and then I run the attic fan twice a day to circulate the whole house. So in the picture the 2x2 is closest to the wall, the 3x3 has the fan on the opposite side. With a y duct in the 3x3 and the end just running through the inside to the 2x2. So the fan would pull air out of the two tents, the ceiling fan and the open window would circulate that around the room
Mostly and spit some out side. The attic fan would assist the ceiling fan and the open window. Then of course the two openings at the bottom of each tent for passive intake.

Highly recommend using Air Purification to eliminate and prevent powdery mildew. AiroClean420 is already established in commercial cannabis cultivation and big agriculture, and now have smaller solutions for home growers. Here's an interview w/ the AiroClean420 CEO -- and here's an explainer on air filtration vs. purification. Running these units means not having to worry about getting PM and you won't need high CFM exhaust fans running regularly either as you don't want the clean sterilized air to be blowing out of the room.

Where do you live that theres so many lizards? How are they making into the tent? i would duct tape the tent vents that you arent using from both sides because that tiny opening is probably the doorway. Just saying....

And Kilo looks like a pitbull?

I think they were coming in through the open window.. I had a bug screen on the window but it wasn’t put on very well so I secured it to where they can’t get in. and ya he’s a red nose :D
