Hey everyone, I was curious and thought I'd ask the rollitup community . I have a couple plants over my Cold air vent, They are in pots with drainage holes in the bottom ( obviously ) I figured some oxygen would shoot through the pot refreshing my babies ( 2-3 weeks old ) I also read that lower temperatures increases the chances of female . What can go wrong ? Would this method benefit them in any way? Or am I an idiot for thinking something like that haha . Any comments are welcomed ! Thanks for your time.

Although it may provide good air flow, temp differences ni the root area and general grow area could be detrimental. The colder it is, the slower the plant will growth so you may experiance some stunting or slow growth but that's just my opinion.

Makes sense... Thanks for commenting. I'll take them off they were only on for 20-30 minutes think any damage was done ?

I don't think that 20-30 minutes would do any damage, maybe a few days would start to take some kind of effect.

My room is an indoor room [in the back of a an 8Tonne Aluminum lorry back], and temperatures can drop to around 15ºC at some points during the night also raising to around 30ºC in the day, i know this is not ideal but it has had no visible negative effect on the veg growth of my babies, using a 125w CFL.

Im not saying my plants are perfectly healthy, rather they are quite content in there environment and can sometimes get quite sweaty take a look below--->
