No matter what. You can't compare a tube to a hood
Throw a hood in there and tell me the tube does the same work
Ya tube gives you great spread
But a hood gives you a concentration

I use a Hood 600W ipower digital ballast which is very quiet 400 cmf fan with a GrowBright Pure Flow 6 Tall Boy Filter in a Agromax Window Grow Tent - Medium (47x47x79) an so far so good tent temp is 75 to 77 with 27% to 30% humidity in veg every day now I'm starting my 12/12 tomorrow with the 600W HPS bulb so I'll probably see a difference an I'll correct it up the humidity to 50% 60% an temps around 80 to 78f I say that's about an good set up

Oops messed up lol. Do I still need one of them reflector adapters with the digital greenhouse or lumatek ballasts

Hows the digital greenhouse ballasts? I don't really have cash for a lumatek unless I can find one less then htgs 270 tag including shipping

do i need that adapter still? i might get that hood you posted eariler now the dual lamp one but the single one.. its cheaper then the blockbuster 6 hood. the lumatek for 150 is the same price as a digital greenhouse so ill just stay with lumatek. does the lumatek come with a cord for 110 cuz i dont got 220 so i wouldnt need that.. im just trying to put a list of things together to get so i dont forget.

what about the hydrofarm phantom? 7 dollars more then the lumatek on ebay with free shipping.. has breakers built into the ballast...

Bro i run the ocho's 8'' huge footprint when the temps are right i put it about 2'' over thier heads i know sounds nutsbut i get massive rock hard buds its well worth the $$ in my opinnion.. i run two blockbuster's in a 4x8 tent also with a pusher and a puller on the lights..

thanks for the info, but im just gonna stick to my list.

600w hydrofarm phantom ballast (reviews looked good any other reviews would be nice)
600w horti bulb\
blockbuster 6 reflector (reviews looked good)
baasr adapter cord (hydrofarm ballast to sunlight supply hood this is what google gave me so if im wrong, i need to know)
im gonna keep my 3x3 tent.. im growing for personal but i normally smoke it up way before the new ones are in flower.
i heard the blockbuster is a good reflector for a 3x3 and a 600w i would still appreciate info but its sort of hard to get replies.

I get everything from amazon and or i take the price to my local shop and he will match it try that if you can shops always have 100% mark up dragon they will all match net prices or come hella close if one of mine acts up the will give you a loaner or a new one
