Air cooled lights and modified window ac unit. No c02?

So if im running both of these things how do i add c02 to my spare bedroom ill be growing in? Wont they just push the c02 to my venting spot in my attic or filter it thru the ac?

In that case, as @SPLFreak808 said, you gotta seal it.

I'd get an inline fan and attach it to ducting running into your light on one side, and running out of your grow space on the other. And on the other side of your light attach ducting that also runs out of your grow space. All in all creating a sealed air current that doesn't mix with the air in your grow space, just the air in your hid hood. Supposing your hood is sealed.

Monitor your temps from there. Co2 enrichment will allow you to run at higher temps.

How big is your 2000 watt room?

You probably dont want to use c02 if your room is ventilated, that will be expensive as shit. i use sealed hoods that pull and push from outside so no leaks and the a/c doesnt work as hard to cool the light.

Either seal it off or use the appropriate temps and light distances for ambient c02 levels.

You need to have a look at how refrigerative AC's work.
It recirculates the inside air i believe and doesn't actually suck anything out

If u use a ac system how does it not suck c02 out theu its intake? Everyone uses ac to a certain point
alot of times, growers get away with a high quality window unit mounted up high. There is usually an isolation foam board inside that stops the backwards flow, however be warned that cheaper units might lack isolation qualities which could cause smells ect leaking through the rear end of the unit.

Portable units can be used also but they are much less efficient.

Also growing plants at 3x-4x ambient c02 levels isn't something thats easy as it sounds, it can be a pain in the ass to keep them thriving at that metabolic rate but if your experienced then go for it.

Yeah i havw a 13000 btu window unit i want to use and i have to make my own heat tray in the back of it attached to a 8inch inline fan.
Im sure the hoa would love a window unit sticking out my window over here as well haha. If only i could pull air from somewhere else but o well thanks guys

Even if you draw from outside the room accross your lights youll waste co2. No matter how hard you try to seal the hoods they will leak and suck it out. Been there done that...

Ouch lol, I use 3m double stick tape for my glass and sandwich it between the mounts, I also use silicone couplers with 8" automotive clamps for the vents and it stops any and all leaks through the lights as long as you dont use gorilla tape or shit along that nature, you can test it by filling it with water. I use the same parts on my turbo kits

Well... i tried... and tried....hoods and the duct joints... couldnt get it right and gave up.

Maybe now that i have COBS and dont air cool anymore i will go back to it.

I use an 6" inline blower to cool my two 600 hoods. I draw from in the room and exhaust next to the ceiling in the room. The room absorbs the heat and I can get the lights closer to the plants. The a/c mitigates the heat gain plus your mixing and moving air in the room. Way easier to keep the CO2 suspended as well.

I plan on venting my ac in tbe attic. Im using a standard window ac unit 13000 btus. But i have to make a rear box to put behind it and put a 8inch inline fan to vent it up there.
