Air Filters. Advice needed!!!

thanks for the replies guys, i wasn't so concerned about odour I was thinking about shifting the hot air from the grow area. but if thats not a problem I can live with the smell

Fuck that. Growing without a filter. My house would smell like pepe le pew just moved in. Get you a fresh air carbon filter best on the market. It might be spelled phresh air.

just in case you did`t think about it or cant imagine it ?

it will stink !!! a lot, its not like a dry oz in a bag, or smokeing inside the house, its hopefully 2-4 Oz of fresh Bud per plant, plus plant material, and its inside your house 24/7, and it will mostlikely depending on strain smell like a mixture of cat piss and fresh plant aso.

I read stories about people who had 2-4 plants but they could smell em out side on the street once in flowering, don't go cheap here, just not wort it

and about hot air, agin, its not just about removing hot air, tho it is important to maintain 75-78F and not get much over 80F no matter what, its also about replacing air/co2, plants need fresh air circulation to grow healthy

you got the light and tent, don't stop now, its like buying a ferrari and then go cheap and buy discount tiers and ruin it all

When you live with/in an odor, you become inured to it. You might not smell it, but Mr. Bluebottle's nose will be fresh and sharp. I recommend a good carbon filter, such as the Phresh mentioned above. cn

appreciate the feedback guys, i think a filter it is then. I just thought because my grow tent is relatively small with a max of 3/4 plants the odour wouldn't be a big problem. as Slipon said, I may as well go the full way now things are nearly ready. thanks again guys

I had two plants. I could not BELIEVE how much they reeked. And those last couple of weeks were ridiculous. I live in an apartment building and did not have a filter and every day I was sure I was going to be busted. What saved me? I live above a restaurant, and I timed tent open-lights on with their cooking hours. Tent closed-lights out was fine.

For my next grow I am spending the extra scratch and getting the proper set up. I was lucky once -- I probably won't be a second time.
