Air movement when lights are off?????

I'll try and keep this short: 2x4x7 tent,400 watt air-cooled light,carbon filter,6" inline fan(530 cfm's)w/ speed control, passive intake. Can I have another exhaust fan running when the lights are off? If so can I get away with using smaller cfm's when the lights are off and just use my other fan during lights on? I want to set my lights and fan on a timer. But does a carbon filter have to run all the time and if so do I need to set that up by itself. In what order is the set-up for the carbon filter,light,fan. just trying to figure out what needs timers, when things should trun on/off. I think you pros get the picture. yea u can run a fan, but it will be hard to control humidity, but i say you can because in the wild wind doesnt stop blowing at night.

thats what i was going to say. the wind blows at night all the time. you have to think, you are trying to mimic mother nature...im a noob at this myself, but this is one of the first things i learned, is to try to duplicate mother nature to the best of your abilities.

I use a DR100L tent with a 400w MH/HPS with an air-coolable reflector cooled using a 6" 435cfm fan which runs only when the lights are on. I had a 4" 171cfm fan with a 4" carbon filter, but did not need to use it so I just left the roof exhaust port open. And I had all my fans for circulation running 24/7.
