does Air/Root Pruning work? and what does it do?

right now i have 2 plants in air pruning pots and they don't look any different than my other pots. What are the pros and cons to Air Pruning? Given this is only one grow i am going to try it again just curious to see what people think....

Air Pot Official Website

^^^ That's the official site for Air Pots. The video explains what it does and the benefits - it sounds like it's more than just a marketing scheme. I personally don't have experience with them yet but I just picked up an Air Pot for my next grow.

those pots are siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick, would this make the plant take longer to grow/bud? since its doing more root work?

word i just want to know if it will take the grow longer or faster or what? what does letting the roots do their thing do for my bud?

about the same m8 just veg them untill roots are poking out then bang em into flower in fact m8 i think they grow faster in airpots i still lst em a bit as well i will get sum pics later for you

no man wait till the roots are showing at the bottom the airpots dont get rootbound like a normal pot m8 i will grab sum pics for you

I swear by these pots now. I have a 4ft tree that i have just put into flower that I veged in a 6L airpot and its super healthy! I didn't believe it a when i was sold them by my local store but jezuz. Super healty plant fast growth and its not showing any sings of being root bound because all the roots grow straight and not round the pot. I just transplanted the tree into the a 30L pot and im expecting big things. Apparently the largest yield from just a 6L pot that the dude in the shop had seen was 16oZ and I believe it. If you want I can show you some pics tomorrow when my lights are on, but you can see the plant when it was small in my picture folder. I now have about 20 of these pots thats how impressed i was with them.

word thanks guys...

i have a plant in a one gallon air pot i just transplanted into a 3 gallon air pot and the plant was 3 feet tall and i could barley even see all the little roots, looks like it could of had another 6 months in there....soil fell apart

i start mine in party cups first till you get a nice rootball then transplant into the 1 gallon airpots , 1.5 gallon is all i use for mine and they love it i first started them in airpots but it took ages for them to take off i wud try party cups next time m8 dor a stronger rootball i will try and get you sum pics

if i am growing a plant only to 3 or 4 feet, is a 1 gallon airpot enough? i am growing some plants in 1 gallon and 3 gallon airpots, they are honestly the same size and some of the plants in the 1 gallon are actually taller...why is this?

i feel like i could be using 1 gallon airpots and save the soil and water i am using on the 3 gallons, whats the benefit of using a bigger pot if the 1 gallon works fine? is there any benefit to the plant or growth faster, for the plant to be in a bigger pot....
