Air pumps and PH

Hey guys, I've got two totes going which each one being 15 gallons. As of now I'm using the simple aquarium pumps found at walmart, one for each tote, and they look fine but I figured I'd look at giving them some more air. I'm looking at some of the linear pumps on amazon 60/80 lpm as I'd rather buy a good pump that would last and be quite. Can too much air cause issues with PH as I've heard it might. I figured at 60/80 lpm there might be some of that froth with super aerated water. Thanks in advance.

buy 2 small water pumps and some tubing and build a waterfall in each tote. waterfalls are way better than air stones for DO.

Well I do agree but I'm afraid of the added heat by putting a submersible pump in the tote...even right now in our winter the water is 68F.
