Hey everyone, this is our first grow been reading up on it for a few months and finally decided to give it a try. We have 2 auto ak48, smurfberry, and pakistan ryder We've heard that these auto strains dont autoflower so the ppl at sagarmatha told us to stimulate with a week of 12/12 then go back to 18/6 the rest of the way. thinking going to 12/12 at week 3 . They are in 3 gl pots in fox farms ocean forest and under 400w MH (switching to HPS when flowering) in a growlab60 tent. Right now the ph is just under 7 and the temp and humidity are 78 and 44 respectively.

We are having a little trouble figureing how much water to give the plants at the moment. Also we are going to be giving it fox farm nutes and molasses, going to start nutes at week 3 but not sure when to add the molasses, any pointers?

Planted the plants thursday dec at 3 8pm (lightschedule is 18/6 with off time 2pm-8pm). here are the plants at 8 days. Lost track of which seed is which during germination, if you know which is which please feel free. Think the 2nd and 4th photos i think are the ak48 and its a toss up between the other 2.

water when the pot feels light to the lift and water till you get some run out out of the bottom of the pot, with ocean forest i would wait till you see the very bottom leaves start to go slightly yellow before starting feed, then start half strength for the first couple feedings with one plain water watering between feeding, start the molasses once flowering has started, usually about 2 weeks after first sexing them, i run 1/4 tsp per quart of water on the waterings i dont feed. i like the fox farms line of liquid nutes, start with a couple waterings of grow big and big bloom then switch to big bloom and tiger bloom thru the rest of flower.

i hope those sagamartha seeds work out better than the double diesel feminized i had.All five didnt autoflower and when i flipped to 12/12.........all 5 were fuckin male.
Ive heard nothing but bad news about there autoflowering beans.

Whats up people its day 10 and everything going smooth. here are some pics from just a bit ago. the first couple are of the ak48, not sure if the lil leaves at the branch stems meaning sexing is coming or if they are just little leaves chillin there. pic 4 is smurfberry and pic 5&6 are pakistan ryder and last 2 pics are the other ak48.

Its weird my smallest and largest plants are the 4k 48 thinknig one may be more sativa and the other more indica. anyway ill post some new pics in a few days

Looks nice, glad you made this thread. I am getting a 400w MH/HPS, and was wondering how many plants I could grow under it. I am now thinking of going to about 8-10 auto flowering strains, maybe more (because they're small, and I have a closet, not a tent). Good luck with the grow, I'll keep posted because I was planning on using 400w MH, then to the HPS, as well as fox farm oceans forest. Perfect :) GL with grow!

the new growth on the nodes at the stem is not an indication of sex, look for the 2 spurs that point up along either side of the stem at the nodes for first sign of sex, you wont see those till week 3 at the earliest i belive. i usually start my lst when i see those new brances starting to pop up but im not too sure about that with an auto flower strain.

Its day 13 still no problems as of yet (knock on wood). Thinking about starting the nutes and molasses within the next watering or two.

First two are the ak48 then pakistan ryder and smurfberry

Hey its been awhile but things are in week 6 now and looking good. 2 were male so they had to go but the two left are doing well. the smurfberry is 2 weeks behind the ak48.

So did they all autoflower like they were supposed to? Man that one has a long ass main cola,it should fill out nice and have a nice fat bud up top there.

No I dont think they were autoflowering, but i didnt really give them a chance to find out, i put them on 12/12 after 3 weeks and they showed sex within a week.

I have a pakistan ryder that i topped and flipped to 12/12 after 3 weeks. Its got pistils but is just as slow as can be. i have a dinafem california hash that is the same age and is budding very fast. Since the pakistan was supposed autoflower i have no idea how long she's gonna flower for. Ive only seen on pakistan ryder autoflower here on RIU.

Trying to think of what strain to grow next, I'd like the flowering to be as quick as possible so maybe something that is 6-8 weeks, and pretty short 3 feet at the tallest, any suggestions?

Autoflower or photoperiod? Something fast flowering would be something indica or indica dominant. You can control height by flowering earlier. So many to choose from.

if you are looking for a short flower you are stuck with indicas my friend, i guess if you like a couchlock bud then its not a bad thing, but most of them are going to flower for atleast 8 weeks i belive.

Its the middle in week 4 of flowering for the ak48 and middle of week 2 for the smurfberry
