Al. B Fuct's Method of harvests in two week int. with SOG

What an amazing thread he conducted that is now closed but anyone considering doing a SOG should definitely read it. I'll post the URL after this post.

Anyhow I'm considering switching to SOG due to height restraints, got 7.5 foot ceilings and simply haven't gotten the results I've wanted hand watering without tables. Figured if I could grow them taller I would do better, but so far it hasn't worked out extremely well, and the added labor of watering takes away from other more beneficial work I could be doing for the plants.

I'm curious if any of you guys are using his SOG method, where you stagger the tables and harvest every two weeks. I am currently holding a Super Silver strain that apparently harvests with good yields after 5 weeks of flowering.

I'm considering doing his method. I have 3 thousand watts, considering doing the two K and then a few weeks later doing the other 1K watt lamp. I figure if I throw 30-40 under each lamp I should get a nice yield and they'd receive water when they need it - admittedly when I do it by hand some of the time they get left dry for a day or so which I think hurts them.

My one reservation about doing his method is that I've had spider mite problems in there from the very get-go and when you're constantly flowering\cropping out, I would think mite control is more of a challenge, especially when dealing with plants in that volume.

How do you guys keep them bug free when you really can never bomb with pyrithrium? You obviously can't bomb group A when group B is a week or two from harvest, so it seems like you'd really only have a small window with group A to bomb them, prior to putting group B in there.... but then, hell, you're throwing a whole new batch of clones in there from my your mom which sometimes has the bugs too... seems difficult to me.

Can anyone share their experiences replicating his system? I love the SOG ideals, no small buds, just a single cola per plant weighing anywhere from 5-10 grams - all nice solid buds. Just seems mite control would be difficult, as well as powdery mildew. Anyone care to comment?

Here is the link to the thread I'm speaking of. Again, I'd really just love to hear from *all* SOG growers, and hear about their experiences so we can keep the disucssion going. In alot ways SOG just makes more sense indoor but I'm very hesitant to switch over.

Quite honestly, right now my yields aren't as good as I wish they were. I always end up having to veg for too long, my plants grow slow in veg it seems... and then I end up with about 7.-.8 lb per 1K lamp - that's not what I'm looking for. I should get betting a pound per lamp, each and everytime... especially if I'm vegging for a while.

How tall do you guys flower your plants in SOG method? I read that you just give them time to set into their new home, and them flip them hoes over. But I'm guessing you let 'em get three to four inches tall before you flip em, yah? Let's talk.
