well you must be rich! without taxes, what would happen to the less fortunate among us (charity) I doubt it. what about infrastructure, you know bridges and shit. What would finance our armies to protect you from the poor people of the world, I believe they should only tax the rich, leave you enough to live comfortably, on a higher plane than the rest of us poor slobs, but not like the Enron bunch and what is financial liberty, does that mean you have enough money to do what the fuck you want? Well I've never had that and I'll venture to say 95% of the citizenry have not either. Envision a world without Taxes. There would only be the super rich and the super poor and I'll guarantee you that the poor would outnumber you. Taxes are a way to distribute the wealth and secure the society, I'm pretty sure you don't want to share the wealth, maybe you are smarter, better looking, taller, richer and a whole myriad of conditions that apply to humanity, than the rest of us. Does that make you superior as a human being, I think not. You were probably the little kid who could never share his toys and grew up to be the same kid. Yes my friend, I'm sure if you sincerely thought about Taxes, you would see the benefits of them. Don't get me wrong here, there are a bundle of shameful uses of our tax money, politicians aren 't exactly trustworthy when it comes to other peoples money, and I truly believe the taxpayer should have more say in how it is spent, I'll guarantee if we had our say, they wouldn't be spending billions in Iraq. we have bridges that are rotting away, schools that are falling down, we need more police, more teachers, comprehensive healthcare for every "citizen", the list is long and instead were wasting our treasure in Iraq. Yes it must be nice to be fortunate like you, but you should also accept some responsibility toward society and pay a fair tax. If you have plenty, more than enough, give, it will do your heart good. peace!
