I live in the South Bay California. I just picked up some Alaskan thunderfuck from a dispensary out here. GOD FUCKING DAMN!!!!I wouldn't mind smoking that shit for the rest of my life! No joke, I myself lean more on the indica side am surprised to learn it is mainly a sativa. Does anyone out there know where i could score some of those seeds. I'm having some trouble trying to find anything online. Anyone from my area know of any clubs that carry Alaskan thunderfuck or any other good strains of seeds?:fire:

use to know a guy they had pounds of it but no idea where he got the seeds...I agree it is some of the best ive ever smoked

I picked mine up from only organic at progressive options... its a hybrid for sure has some indica in there.

do not look for matanuska tundra if you want thunderfuck.... Tundra is a purely indica alaskan strain and thunder fuck is mostly sativa.

I use to live in alaska, the reason they call it Matanuska anything is because its grown in the mat-su valley outdoors, or in greenhouse.
They use the soil in the valley because volcanic ash collected into the soil, which makes the medium super rich with nutrients.

We get nearly
24 hours of daylight in the summer... the growers will make a cover-setup with whatever they choose to cover the plant in complete darkness...

causing it to flower otherwise the frost may come before your plant finishes and kills it.

As for the seeds... if you want the real shit you have to go up to wasilla and hunt for them. Otherwise theyll take some strain thats similar and call it thunderfuck.
It is deffinatly one of the holy grails of all strains and if you can get a hold of a seed your very lucky and should clone it.

I have an ATF mother that is 4 yrs. old, and I got her outta Mendocino Co. One of the fuckin BEST strains besides the Bubba. . .

Dude I had no idea how amazing growing in alaska can be outdoors. Like i knew about 24 hour light, but you just connected it to growing for me. Thank you. I bet vegging would be amazing out there. And force flowering is genius... You think the experts even untilize the inclination of the sun to pick the proper spectrum of daylight?

I just finished a crop of Matanuska Thunderfuck, and have some clones going in bud again. Amazing stuff.
Mine were started from seed. I had a late morph, so I got about 100 ripe seeds. There is a good chance a lot of them will be fem, there is also a good chance that I may get more morphs....but worth the try for such unique stuff.
I have already done a dose of Dutch Master "Reverse" to help prevent morphing on the clones, if I ever pop the seeds I will do the same. I didn't keep any clones from the plant that morphed, so I think I have a good chance with the clones I kept.
These seeds were originally from Brothers Grimm.

Wouldn't Auto flowers be good in Alaska? Considering the length of the days?
