Algae in my water!!Hydrogen Peroxide?????

This is my 2nd grow. I am getting Algae growing in and on my roots. I found something that said use hydrogen peroxide as a algae controller. Any suggestions???

this may be a dumb question but do you have a water heater?....i didnt use a water heater on my one hydro grow and got algae like a motha


oh yea and my water wasnt covered.....

Best way to stop algae growth is to stop light from getting to the wet areas. cover the exposed growing medium. Any water containers should be light proof and black, if not black cover them with something like aluminum tape or blk duct tape.

Algery needs 3 thin gs to live
Light, Food, Air. Cut out one variable problem solved.
Best solution is to light proof you rez.
If your gonna use H2O2 use 29% or higher.

y a water heater? algae grows in warm conditions, pretty sure thats y they have chillers for the res

algae like h2o2 also, you need to use bleach or beneficial microbs
