Alien Labs Planet Dosi worth high cost?

A buddy of mine recently bought three planet dosi seeds from alien labs for $500. He asked me if I would want to buy one, and before I do, my question is, are there genetics that much more superior or is it just hype?

I like high priced, hard to find things. This strain does not fit my parameters to pay that kind of cash for a bean.. 22% THC strain, and $500 for 3 unknown beans,,,BS.

NOW, if it got higher THC averages or had a massive nice, long lasting buzz.....I would pay up for a presorted clone...

Not to mention that Alien did not develop Dos I Dos.....

I did pony up for a hand sorted Dos I Dos clone. This bitch hits hard and last's a long, LONG time!

The cross with Dos I Dos to find?

Smellboat seeds - Bon - Bon.....A limited release and at big $. Thing is it was done with the same Dosi pheno (not my physical one, it's clone sister) and Smelly's Rainbow SS OG....
Rainbow SS OG is in it's self a rare ass fantastic strain ...... Triangle X (OGKB X Chocolate Cherry Thai)

For years growing , we know these strains with very good Gerentic play a such an important role in growing. ppl may pay high price for high quality seeds, but too much high price is not a must, we'd go with the middle price ones, most ppl do this way, they re not bad actually . :weed:

All of your responses have been great. Over the years I've quite literally only grown Dinafem or DNA genetics so I was quite sceptical, glad to see I'm not the only one. I told him I'd pass on the one seed for $175 and he said "just take it then, but you owe me a clone". So I got a free alien labs Planet Dosi feminized seed :bigjoint:Pretty stoked to grow it to be honest

I'm with you, the potency needs to be up there don't get me wrong, but the terpene profile is what matters the most to me.

Not like we don't make a mistake on something once in awhile. Mine was "real" Larry bird cut Gelato.... Ho hum.. Then it mixed up with something else of a higher concentration by label. Thought I had smacked a big win!
Till someone pointed out that Gelato don't hit 30%......
Ah, you get old and set out too many solo's to label....In a hurry and should have done 1 strain at a time. Oppsy! several mislabeled! Egg on my face....lol
