Alittle help please

Ok, Im thinking of setting up my grow project 2!

(The 1st project yielded a small amount of joint sized buds :bigjoint:, Better than nothing I s'pose).

Im going to set up a stealth cupboard; Just big enough for 2 - 4 low ryders. I need to make sure that its odorless and very quite, but also 'energy efficent'. Trying to keep it cheap and cheerful really

Questions:

I previously used CFL's to grow, but was thinking of growing up this time round and getting a HPS, but I can only find 250 w and higher systems. Does anyone know where I can find a 150w (UK), (Or lower... Only acouple plants) kit. Can I use a 100 w light with a 250 w ballasts? (Will that only use 100w of energy?)

I can only find powerful inline fans on the net, I really only need under 50 m3/hour fan system, as my growing area will be tiny, any ideas where to find one?

Thanks for any advice :bigjoint:

You can use computr fans for intake and exhaust. If you want a HPS smaller then 250w dont bother you may as well use the CFLs. Just use a shit load. I use 10 100w CFLs for veg in a 4x4x5 cabinet.

HIDs are great but the heat is a issue in a small cab. I used to have a 400MH for veg and a 1000wHPS for flower but the heat was too much. I now have the CFLs for veg and a 600wHPS for flower. Temps are OK but warm. 80-82 is average. Before it got to 90deg sometimes in the summer even with AC! If heats not an issue go with the HID. I would get a digital ballast so you can burn MH or HPS bulbs.Good Luck!

Cheers man. Ive just got the smell problem sorted. Gonna get a Odorsock (carbon filter) off the net. About 25 quid, and looks like it does the business. :bigjoint:

400w is alittle big for me, its kinda a micro grow. :)
