This will be my first official grow. I'm about 5 weeks in but i'd like some tips, Let me know what you think. I'm still vegging just cause, and they're starting to look great. my babies are 2 bagseeds i got from a friend for free. FYI I'm on low budget, (may be getting 150w hps for flowering) let me know if this is a good idea.

Setup:
1 30W CFL
6 26W CFL'S
2 13W CFL'S
1 Tube CFL

Miracle Grow Water Control soil
Miracle Grow Water Soluble food (watered down 50%)

3x3x5 area vented by one exhaust fan

1 gallon pots

$65 total investment

Great grow man, Im also using Miracle grow moisture control potting mix and its my first grow.. I was just wandering are you using a mix on your bulbs, 2,700k 6,500k?? Some have said on this sight to use 6,500k for vegging and 2,700k for flowering? Myself personally, I using 2-6,5ook's and 2- 2,700ks just to mix it up a little, just wandering if your doing the same!! Keep up the good work!!:leaf:

UPDATE:::

CLONES+BUD PORN

my clones are still looking quite healthy and im spraying them with water mixed with fungicides every 4 hours, they are nice and lush while also very sturdy still, the dome is keeping them nice and humid and i have them on top of my heat register keeping them at a healthy 75-85 degrees the buds are getting nice and fat while now i am beggining to notice some nice sugar leaves , they are getting frosty!!

ps never buy a "woods" timer they are junk and i have gone through 2 of them and now on my 3rd timer, i am now using a timer from "GE" (GENERAL ELECTRONICS) and theres also a picture on what im using to kill any bugs that may be in my grow area, (i ahvent seen any in about a week now)
Man, I love that last pic!! looking great!! sub+rep'd!!

does anyone have any ideas to fatten up my buds?
i fell they are lagging a bit, either that or they are getting ready to exlode, but i feel theres somthing i could be doing to get them more plump

Man thinks for stopping by and checking me out i've already been following arch a bit and I have to say you two guys are my heroes. As far as fattening up what lights do you have on them right now(I may have missed it, sorry!)? the more 2700k you can surround the bud areas with seems to be the best answer I can find, not just above but hanging in between them as well. Think I've figured out rep but how do I sub? cause I'm definitely gonna stick around and watch you and Arch put veterans to shame.

Hey man i have 9 26w witch are mixed spectrum, mostly 2700, and also a 30w and 40w witch are 3000. I am adding molasses to rheir diet tommorow witch apperently swells up the buds nicely And gives them a nice bitter sweet smell and taste, and to sub all you do is go to the blue bar on the top of the thread and click thread tools after clicking that 3 options should come up oneof witch being subscibeto this thread,..... sorry to be so brief but i am on my cell phone at the moment and have just typef this out twice both times my connection failed midway posting my comment. Good luck on you grow man ill be watching you and, hopefully helping you aalong the way

Thanks bro, first i've heard on the molasses that good to know, lights seem good from what i've found elsewhere! The logging out thing is a bitch I have to log in constantly. I'm bout to log off so no rush when you get a chance I was wondering you said I should go ahead and top them now? I think I'm 4 nodes high right now!

Yeah i topped at the third node witch people say not to do but your in the clear now, if you top it now you could have 4 main branches like my 2 girls, you could even top 2 of em and leave the other 2 and see how different it really is

Theyre doin great kotton, minus the yellowing but ive read thats a sign that they are still alive ive transplanted em out of the dome and cut 2 extras, 1 of witch is in just water, sealed with mylar, we'll see what happens there, im positive that 1 already has roots so i can atleast keep my grow going some way or amother after i harvest the big girls, im thinking of growing out a mother plant in order to keep this perpetual, my big hirls didnt get fed today as they are still quite wet since the last water/feeding 8 days ago, but am going to introduce molasses in their next feeding,.i just took a ass load of pictures and should have an update for yall within a couple hours,
