The afghan war was is the only one we should've been in in the first place. Personally I have no problem being in Afghanistan, Iraq was my beef. Actually, I kind of feel like Obama isn't doing too bad a job as "Commander in Chief"... I was against US/Nato action in Libya - but look at the results! A rebel group that would've otherwise been destroyed easily has toppled the longest ruling dictator in the middle east (world? 42 years is a fuck-ton after all). Obama ran in part by promising to end the Iraqi war, not the Afghan war so dont expect much action from him on that front.

We'll all believe it when we see it. Highly doubt that though. Correction, I very highly doubt the US will ever be fully out of Iraq. There is to much infrastructure there that the US cant and wont just walk away from. Let alone the energy interest.

But look at the results... What result did you expect??? Easily toppled... Of coarse they were easily when they were being attacked from the air by Nato (the usa and uk) and being attacked on the ground by the "rebels" who were no doubt supported by Brittish and American special forces with an unlimitted amount of guns and bombs and shit also supplied by the US and UK....

What I'm worried about is all these service folks coming home and no jobs here to support them. You're going to see a huge swell in the Occupy crowds.
Don't worry, I'm sure they will drum up a new war somewhere else before that happens.

This kinda leans towards a thought i had one day about the war. That the government will not bring back the troops because it will cause unemployment to go up.
They started as a response to 9/11 but got stuck there because bush didn't want the blame of having unemployment go up. I think Obama is doing this in a last ditch effort to get re-elected .
