Here is my first try at some iso hash.

I used 4 grams of 8Ball Kush trim I had left, with 91% iso. I did a 30 second wash, didn't shake just swished it around. I then filtered it into a pyrex pan with a single unbleached coffee filter. Finally I did a water purge to speed up the evaporation process, and kept the temperature around 140-150f. I kept it in there until there was no longer an iso smell.

The result was a real surprise to me. I ended up getting a little over half a gram of product back. It is a wonderful orange color, shatter consistency, clarity is amazing, the taste is so-so, but burns very clean and smooth.

Really gave me second thoughts on my doing strictly BHO. Won't have anymore trim to work with for 2-3 months though. :p

I'm gunna try this tonight!!! Any links or tips you can pass along?

Well things are looking bright for my summer, it won't be a summer without meds at least, which is a life saver. Thought I'd have to go back to Mayo, hate having to go there, but I think I'll be good. Haha, smiling just thinking about it. :)

Well I'm going to have a few more beers tonight to celebrate this happy feeling.

I also started germing a few auto seeds I tried a few weeks back. Just for some fun. Have some random stuff running while I do my main stuff.

So my little red wigglers came today. They all seemed alive and well. I'm sure some died but I couldn't really tell in their big clump haha.

Well I threw them in the bin, and put a little bit of food in each corner to start seeing how much I'll be consuming. I have a light above the bin for the first 12-24 hours to make them go deeper and get established and not try to escape. They also said it might take 2 days for them to fully bounce back from the shipping.

This should be fun! Can't wait to start seeing the bedding going down, and the black gold coming up. No more buying castings once they are up and runnin'!

Been really busy today, so I think I might end up waiting to feed the tea tomorrow, because I want to take my time and give them a nice soil drench.

Do you have the actual worm bin? I'm gonna make a compost bin still just hadn't had time. I'm gonna use old pallets but hadn't decided yet on how or if the worms will escape it. Should I even put worms in it?

You mean you did not count them...........Lol
Yea,having some great castings is on its way.
Anxious to see how long it takes to get a batch.
Hell I wasn't going to sit there and count 250 worms lmao.

Yeah that's what I'm excited for too. It'll probably be a month or two for me until I can start using some of the compost. I only bought a 1/4 lbs of worms.

Well I don't have a fancy worm bin but I just made one out of a rubber tote.

I'm sure some will escape, but as long as the environment is rich in food/dark/not super hot/semi-moist they'll stay. They have instructions on adding them to entire gardens. I hear of people putting worms in their compost piles all the time since I've been reading up on them.
